Some people make friends easy, but for some is so difficult, do you know why? In this video I will tell you some very practical advice how to make friends and travel the world.
Y might say now: Pavlin, it is easy for you, you have Youtube channel everybody know you!
Well, it is true that I have the channel and many people know me, but this help to meet many people, but definitely cannot help me to make friends. Also, do not forget that work seriously with the channel from two years, but I travel from more than 15, actually, the first time I left my country for long period was in 1999, which is almost 20 years.
During that period I met many people and with some of them I have a long term friendships. So what is the trick, what is the easy way to do it? Actually there are many tips and I am going to share it with you now:
Tip N:1 – Be yourself.
This is so obvious, but many people miss it somehow. To pretend to be someone else is a common mistake for many. People are not stupid and if you are not real soon or later they will understand it. Be yourself and you will find many people like you. The phrase fake it until you make it is absolutely nonsense for me. Be a real person and you will meet a real friends.
Tip N: 2 – Be careful with the religion.
Respect other religion and don’t flag with yours. It doesn’t matter in what you believe it is a fact that we are all human beans. Do not even think that you or your religion is better than others. This is the fastest way to put yourself in troubles. Some people are very sensitive on that topic and sometimes simple words could be understood wrong and create serious problems.
Tip N: 3 – Don’t give advice until someone asked about it.
This is exactly what I do at the moment, giving you advice, but keep in mind that the situation is different. I am on this platform from a long time. You all know me and I proved myself many times. Even so, many of you will refuse to listen, will dislike the video or even leave some nasty commends.
Save your advice because they won’t listen, you might be right, but they don’t care…
I also talk now in front of large audience this is absolutely normal and I perfectly understand that. In your case you will talk with one or just few people. The chances to hit the wall are very high. Don’t do it! Be patient and wait. If someone needs an advice he will ask.
Tip N: 4 – Do not talk, just listen.
I am sure that you have heard the phrase – the silent is gold. Most of the people I meet on the road prefer to talk instead of listen your stories. There will be some exceptions, but you will see it anyway. Even if you coming from big and powerful country it doesn’t mean that your stories are more interesting. Everybody deserves audience. Be patient and listen. This will open many unexpected doors for you.
