Hiking To Seven Sisters Waterfall In Grand Etang, Grenada
In this video we head to the mountainous interior of Grenada and hike to the 7 Sisters Waterfall in Grand Etang National Park.
Grand Etang is a great place to spot wildlife including lizards, tree boas and the illusive and very endangered Grenadan Dove.

????Seven Sisters Waterfall
To get there jump on a No.6 bus from St George's to Grenville, it’ll drop you right by the entrance.
Journey time: 30 minutes
Bus Cost: $5 EC per person
Entrance Fee: $5 EC per person
It’s also just 5-10 minutes down the road from Grand Etang Lake so you can visit both!
Alternatively if you’re visiting Grand Etang Lake first you can either walk from there or jump back on another bus - it’s just 5-10 minutes down the road.
As you approach there’s an office where you pay & collect a walking stick (don’t forget to drop it back off) then it’s around a half hour hike from there.
The route is through the rainforest & it gets quite muddy & slippy so (unlike us) wear appropriate footwear - hiking sandals that can get wet are ideal!

Seven Sisters Waterfall (St. Margaret Falls) Grenada
We went to the world-renowned Seven Sisters Waterfall (St. Margaret Falls)
Located in the heart of the Grand Etang Rainforest lies one of Grenada’s gem the Seven Sister Waterfall. This waterfall is quite unique as the name suggests; this waterfall is given the name Seven Sisters because there is a succession of seven falls. This area is marked as one of Grenada's most beautiful areas where a waterfall rushes down the mountainside into a large pool perfect for swimming. Roughly a 25 minutes hike down a pathway will get you to the waterfall; the cool breeze and lush green vegetation makes this hike a relaxing enjoyable one. Persons can journey this route alone or can opt for a tour guide if you are looking to explore all seven falls. Next time you are looking for a short hike with a relaxing, magical reward visit the Seven Sisters Waterfall.

Seven Sisters Waterfall, Grenada
One of the best waterfalls to visit on the Spice Island of Grenada is Seven Sisters, also called St Margarets waterfall. It’s a 30-40 minutes hike from the small car park & the best bit is, it’s all downhill! Once there you can take a refreshing dip in the water…or if you’re feeling really brave dive, jump or backflip off the top. Keep watching to see how it should be done!

St.Margaret’s Falls in Grenada ???????? also known as the Seven Sisters, this series of waterfalls in the forests of Grand Etang make an enjoyable hike.
The waterfalls form part of a series known locally as the Seven Sisters. The lower falls are number six, the taller ones above it number five. The four above it are in actual fact rather small cascades that can be accessed via the trail to your right. It takes about 20 minutes to get up to the top and a popular way of descending is simply to jump down each waterfall into the pool below????

February 2, 2019 - After a bus ride and a walk, we finally made it to the entrance that leads to the Seven Sisters Falls. Located in the Grand Etang National Park and Forest Reserve. The path wasn’t difficult, but it was wet and muddy in some steep areas, especially across slippery stones.
As we walked, the sound of the wind blowing through the trees accompanied us throughout. It is forest bathing to the utmost! In about an hour’s time, depending on our pace, we reached the falls. There are two waterfalls cascading down into pools of water.

Grand Etang Lake - Grenada
Grand Etang National Park lies in the centre of Grenada & is the perfect place to go on the island if you fancy a hike. There are numerous trails to cater for all levels. They say the lake is so deep that it’s bottomless & legend has it that a mermaid lives there, luring local men to their deaths. I didn’t see her, but there were certainly some huge fish in the water!
Here I head to the lookout for some amazing views across the rainforest and then attempt an “easy hike”. Not so easy after all... as you’ll see!

Hike to Seven Sisters Waterfalls - Grenada
Hike to Seven Sisters Waterfalls in Grenada.
A quick vid to show you what the trail is like if you are thinking of going on the excursion.
It can be muddy in places but if you got the right foot ware its no problem. You do have to cross a stream, you can jump across the rocks or just walk through the water and you guide will help you if you need it.
There is quite a lot of steps and can be a bit slippery. It takes about 30 mins to walk to the falls and a bit longer coming back because its mostly up hill. Remember to take a towel with you incase you want to have a swim, there is also no changing room.

Day 3 of our Southern Caribbean cruise on the Caribbean Princess. We are on the beautiful island of Grenada hiking to the seven sisters waterfalls.
Hike to Tufton Hall Waterfalls Grenada
If you love adventure! This is a hike for you. This waterfalls is located far into the interior of St.Mark's close to Mount Catherine (Grenada's Highest Mountain). Thats why this is the highest water fall in Grenada. It took us about 1:45 min both way of brisk hiking, though the rocky river. The hike was 99% in the river up to the falls. The next time we go we will hike to the top of the falls and that should be a thrilling experience.
