A country in Central America

Guatemala, a Central American country south of Mexico, is home to volcanoes, rainforests, and ancient Mayan sites. The capital, Guatemala City, features the stately National Palace of Culture and the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology.

Antigua, west of the capital, contains preserved Spanish colonial buildings. Lake Atitlán, formed in a massive volcanic crater, is surrounded by coffee fields and villages.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE VOLCAN DE FUEGO ERUPTION NEAR ANTIGUA IN JUNE OF 2018:

Guatemala City is big, noisy, and chaotic. I think a lot of tourists skip the capital and go straight to other more tourist-friendly locations such as Antigua or Lake Atitlan.

But I believe that every big city has beauty waiting to be found, so that's what I go looking for in Guatemala's capital — Guatemala City.

Guatemala City Guatemala - Guatemala travel guide

Guatemala City Guatemala is our first stop in Guatemala - Guatemala City to Antigua Guatemala is our second stop.

Guatemala is my latest country to visit. This was a birthday celebration trip for my girlfriend. I think I picked a good one. Guatemala City was our first stop and we had an awesome AirBnB. Guatemala 2019 is a date and trip that we will never forget. We absolutely loved this country and its' history. Guatemala City 2019 is a place that we'll always recommend visiting. Visiting Guatemala was an awesome choice for her birthday. We just didn't know how good it would be.Visiting Guatemala City first was a good choice as well. Since we landed here it was a good choice to get a good AirBnB for the week as a base. Guatemala City to Antigua was our ultimate route. And of course we went from there as well to Lake Atitlan and Pacaya volcano as well. Visiting Antigua was good for us especially coming and going to and from Medellin Colombia. Guatemala travel is something we both recommend now.

There are plenty of things to do in Guatemala City. We chose to stay near our airbnb since we were only a block away from Sexta Avenida or should I say Avenida Sexta. Visiting Antigua Guatemala was and is a good second stop. I'd actually recommend first experiencing Guatemala City nightlife before heading to Antigua Guatemala. Travel Guatemala should be on a t-shirt somewhere just like Guat's Up? I actually have that shirt. Guatemala City Travel is our tip recommend travel if you're looking to stay near the US but be outside of the US. Central and South America are great choices. It's the same time zone as well. Travel Guatemala city was my first choice and Honduras was my second. We've even checked out living in Guatemala and joined a Facebook group for expats in Guatemala. Food in Guatemala was awesome. Some not my first choice, but overall, this was our best food trip yet. Guatemalan food is something to check out when possible. And sexta avenida Guatemala is a walking street that you have to check out. There are no cars allowed but does have a free bus that runs periodically. Restaurants in Guatemala City were, again, awesome. We'd definitely tell you to check out La Cocina de la Senora Pu.

Moving from Washington D.C. & Houston, TX. to Medellin, Colombia. With the goal of traveling the entire globe. My passport is my favorite book.

Lake Atitlan Guatemala Part 1 - Guatemala travel guide

Lake Atitlan Guatemala Part 2 - Guatemala Travel Guide - Antigua Guatemala to Panajachel Guatemala & Lago Atitlan is where we'll visit during this video. Lake Atitlan was on our radar since we arrived in Antigua Guatemala. Lake Atitlan Guatemala is what the local tour companies would advise us to visit. Since My girlfriend is a planner, heading from Antigua to Panajachel was our logical first leg of our journey. Antigua to Panajachel Guatemala is where most begin their trek to Lake Atitlan.

Also known as Lago Atitlan, Lago Atitlan Guatemala is the way it would be pronounced in Spanish. Antigua Guatemala is our spot, don't get me wrong, but Lake Atitlan Panajachel would have to be our second favorite place visited during our visit to Guatemala. Panajachel is the main town to get to from both Guatemala City and Antigua Guatemala when heading to Lake Atitlan. Panajachel Guatemala is a funky little town right on the lake and probably the main town to move around to and from other towns along the lake. If going from Antigua to Lake Atitlan just ask any tour company or guide in town. and there are plenty of them. Guides also hang out in Parque Central. Guatemala City is a good jump off spot since your flight will probably land there. But any city, really, is easy to plan a trip to the lake.

Guatemala City to Lake Atitlan is probably a 3 hour drive. Atitlan Guatemala is now a major tour attraction. But really, not too many Americans know about it. So, keep it a secret please. Atitlan Guatemala 2019 is a good way to search for visits to the lake. ,Kaapul Atitlan is the name of the vegetarian resort we stayed at. We had the entire place to ourselves. Extremely quite and peaceful. Guatemala Travel is the way to go people. A Guatemala Travel Guide is a good way to get started. Antigua travel should be at the top of your list if visiting Central America. Guatemala is the country, Antigua is the city. If visiting Antigua Guatemala and I could be of assistance, please comment on the video and I'll help you as best I can.

Visiting Guatemala 2019 - Guatemala City, Antigua, Pacaya Volcano & Lake Atitlan

Visiting Guatemala 2019 - Guatemala City, Antigua, Pacaya Volcano & Lake Atitlan is what this video will highlight. My girlfriend and I both voted this trip and country as, Best Trip Ever. More videos to come, but this will give you an idea of our entire trip. And what a trip it was. This is the beginning of my Guatemala Travel Guide. Lake Atitlan is the #1 visit during out stay. Pacaya Volcano is #2. This was my first trip to Guatemala. And wow, what a trip. I will definately be back. Antigua,Antigua is my new favorite place. My favorite trip ever. We started in Guatemala City and then on to Antigua Guatemala. This was my first travel to Guatemala City and Antigua. If you're planing to visit guatemala city, please check out my videos. I'll have a few more after this one. Guatemala is now my favorite country. There are plenty of things to do in Guatemala and lots of things to do in Antigua. The things to do in Antigua Guatemala are both in town and outside of town. Such as climbing a volcano. Guatemala Antigua has an incredible culture. Or should I say many different cultures, as there are numerous other groups of native peoples. If you travel to Antigua you must visit Lake Atitlan, which is about a two hour van ride from Antigua. It's a true gem and a must do if in Antigua or Guatemala City for a few days.

Travel to Antigua Guatemala is also easy to get to. At least for us coming from Houston, we only have one flight. There are numerous Volcanoes in Guatemala and from Antigua you can see three of them prominently towering over the city. There's Volcano Agua, Volcano Fuego and I forgot the other one but it's right next to Fuego Volcano. Fuego Volcano is an active volcano and you should see it blow smoke from time to time.Volcanoes in Antigua are available to climb. Well at least Pacaya Volcano is and Fuego Volcano actually erupted about a year ago. It's extremely active. But believe it or not, I would still live in Antigua. I tell you, you must take a,trip to Guatemala. It's absolutely beautiful. A trip to Antigua Guatemala is a must if heading to central or South America. Guatemala City is the standard landing spot and is only about an hour Uber ride to Antigua. Our Uber cost about $22 US. Another must visit is Lake Atitlan. It's pristine, peaceful and like another world. It has lots of great AirBnB's as well. Lake Atitlan Guatemala as well as the Volcano hikes should be on anyone's to-do list.

Guatemala Adventure Travel

Guatemala Adventure Travel: Everyone who arrives at Guatemala leaves better, more complete. With an adventure that wasn't expected. That is why in Guatemala we would like to show you something more than lakes and volcanoes, more than Mayan cities and more than towns full of color.

Guatemala is still a developing nation, a young democracy with a turbulent and bloody history that's beset by deep-rooted inequalities. And yet, despite alarming levels of poverty and unemployment, most Guatemalans are extraordinarily courteous and helpful to travellers, and only too eager to help you catch the right bus or practise your Spanish.

It's this genuine and profound hospitality combined with the country's outstanding cultural legacy and astonishing natural beauty that makes Guatemala such a compelling place for travellers.

All this in your Guatemala Adventure Travel!
