Tis Grias to Pidima beach (Της Γριάς το Πήδημα, Παραλία Της Γριάς το Πήδημα) is nestled in a sandy cove on the southeastern coast of Andros. Tis Grias to Pidima beach lies 23 km from the island's capital, Hora (or Chora). Tis Grias to Pidima beach (meaning, the old lady's jump, or, the old woman's jump or, the old woman's leap) boasts an unspoiled setting, as it is not organized with umbrellas and sunbeds and has no facilities, keeping its raw natural charm. Tis Grias to Pidima beach has fine golden sand, crystal clear emerald waters and is insulated by towering cliffs. The standout of this beach is a huge 21 meters high cliff emerging from the sea. This Grias to Pidima beach can be reached either by boat, or by a private means of transportation.
Andros (Greek: Άνδρος) is the northernmost island of the Greek Cyclades archipelago. It is for the most part mountainous, with many fruitful and well-watered valleys. The municipality, which includes the island Andros and several small, uninhabited islands, has an area of 380 km2 (146.719 sq mi). The largest towns are Andros (old town, Chora or Hora), Gavrio, Batsi, and Ormos Korthiou.

ΑΝΔΡΟΣ (ANDROS) 2023 4K (2160p)
Η Άνδρος βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 2 ωρών από την Αθήνα, είναι το δεύτερο σε έκταση νησί των Κυκλάδων. Το νησί διαφέρει πολύ από όσα νησιά γνωρίζετε. Έχει έκταση 380 τ. χλμ. Απέχει 6 ναυτικά μίλια από την Εύβοια (στενό Καφηρέα, Κάβο Ντόρο) και λιγότερο από ένα ναυτικό μίλι από τη Τήνο. Το νησί έχει μήκος περίπου 40 χλμ., πλάτος 17 χλμ. και απέχει 36 περίπου ναυτικά μίλια από τη Ραφήνα με την οποία συνδέεται ακτοπλοϊκώς. Η ακτογραμμή της Άνδρου είναι βραχώδης με συνολικό μήκος περίπου 176 χλμ. και σύμφωνα με τον Ανδρέα Εμπειρίκο η Άνδρος είναι «η νήσος η έκπαγλος, η βασιλίς του Αιγαίου… η ωραιοτέρα όλων του κόσμου». Η Άνδρος φημίζεται και για τα υπέροχα ήθη, εθιμα και παραδόσεις που την καθιστούν ένα μοναδικό νησί των Κυκλάδων.
Παραλία Φελλός
Η παραλία Φελλός, είναι μία από τις πιο γνωστές και μεγάλες παραλίες της Άνδρου με χρυσαφένια αμμουδιά και πεντακάθαρα κρυστάλλινα νερά. Η παραλία ενδείκνυται για ατελείωτες ώρες χαλάρωσης και για πολύωρο παιχνίδι στην αμμουδιά, αφού τα αρμυρίκια που κοσμούν σχεδόν όλο το μήκος της ακτής της, προσφέρουν φυσική σκίαση στους επισκέπτες της. Όσον αφορά στους λάτρεις του ψαρέματος, αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως η παραλία Φελλός της Άνδρου, αποτελεί συχνή επιλογή των ψαράδων και αυτό γιατί εκτός από την ίδια, κοντά της βρίσκονται δύο άλλες μικρές απομονωμένες αλλά δυσπρόσιτες από την ξηρά παραλίες ονομαζόμενες Σέλκι και Κούρταλι.
Παραλία της Γριάς το Πήδημα
Η Παραλία της Γριάς το πήδημα είναι μια από τις πιο χαρακτηριστικές παραλίες της Άνδρου και ίσως η πιο δημοφιλής απ’ όλες. Ο επιβλητικός της βράχος σε συνδιασμό με τα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά χαρίζουν στην παραλία μια απόκοσμη και άγρια ομορφιά.

Andros (Greek: Άνδρος), also called Chora (Χώρα, main town), is a town and a former municipality on the island of Andros, in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Andros, of which it is a municipal unit, and shares the island of Andros with the municipal units of Korthio and Ydrousa. The municipal unit has an area of 102.756 km2. Its population was 3,901 inhabitants at the 2011 census.
It has a mixture of post-World War I neoclassical mansions with vernacular Cycladic houses. The town squares are paved with marble. At the end of the headland are two islands. The first, linked to the mainland by a brick bridge, with a ruined Venetian castle and the second with a lighthouse. There are four museums: the extensive Archaeological Museum, Museum of Modern Art, a Nautical Museum and a Folklore Museum.

We were leaving Italy and had to return our rental car in Cagliari and catch a flight to Basel in Switzerland. We had been visiting the famous Amalfi Coast and Positano as well as The coast of baunei in Sardinia. The travels and flight to Switzerland would end up taking a very long time with car rides, bus rides and train rides. In the coming videos we will be exploring some famous places in Switzerland by Lake Tunersee and by the city of Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. But first a train ride form Basel to Bern and then some more busses.
