South Indian Food for the First Time (Mumbai) ???????? | Solo Travel India | India Travel Vlog (Ep. 3)

Today, I am a foreigner trying South Indian Food! I was invited to a local South Indian restaurant in Mumbai with local. She was kind enough to explain the different names and foods to me. I was literally clueless without her!

Indian food has SO many flavors! Each dish was so unique and very different from the food just next to it. That made the meal very interesting from start to finish!

My roti experience was a bit rough in the beginning. This was the first time I tried to separate a small piece from the large piece - with one hand. As you can see, I was wildly unsuccessful lol.

OUT OF CONTROL Indian STREET FOOD Tour of MULUND & MOHAMMAD ALI ROAD | Mumbai, India

???? WATCH: Spicy Indian Jungle Food
???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE SHIRTS & MERCH:

My first night in Mumbai I went on an out of control Indian street food tour of Mulund and Mohammad Ali Road. From Indian Burger to Nitrogen Biscuits and so much more!

We start off our tour in the Mulund neighborhood where we get some Chai to start the eating Indian street food. From there we hopped on a rickshaw and went out to eat Indian Burger or Kalidas Masala Vada Pav. This is basically bread with masala.

Next up we went for some really cold Ice Bhel. It was one of the coldest dishes I tried in Indian but it was perfect to battle the heat in Mumbai. To end the tour of Mulund we tried one of the most unique things in the world, Nitrogen Biscuit at the Ice Cream Factory. It was so cold and delicious!

We jumped on a local train and headed 45 minutes south to Mohammad Ali Road to try some non-veg food. Our first snack was a Chicken Sandwich which was so good. Next we tried a Mutton Roll, I've never had this before.

We then tried a Chicken Lolipop, it's basically a drumstick with some delicious red curries. The flavor was incredible! Our last big snack was Mutton and Chicken Kebab's. There is nothing like non-veg Indian food!

To end the tour we cooled down the heat with some Lassi! I can drink Lassi all day!!

Mulund:
-Chai
-Kalidas Masala Vada Pav
-Ice Bhel
-Nitrogen Biscuit

Mohammad Ali Road:
-Chicken Sandwich
-Mutton Roll
-Chicken Lolipop
-Mutton & Chicken Kebab
-Lassi

I hope you loved this Mumbai Indian Street Food tour of Mulund and Mohammad Ali Road. Have you ever eaten any of these dishes or been to these areas?
