First Time In Africa: Ep 2 - Backpacking in Botswana & Zambia

My first trip to Africa was a 5 week adventure through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. captured in this travel documentary.

This second episode sees me continue my G Adventures Tour towards Victoria falls.

My journey continues in Ghanzi learning the traditional ways of the bushmen. Driving along the elephant highway we then explore Okavango Delta by scenic flight and boat.

At Chobe River National Park we go on a sunset boat cruise and find ourselves surrounded by wildlife.

The journey finishes at Victoria Falls in Zambia. Here I have an action packed week of white water rafting, helicopter rides and bungee jumping.

BOTSWANA TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY | 4x4 Safari Road Trip feat. Victoria Falls

Follow us on our road trip safari through southern Africa's wildlife paradise Botswana. We drove through most of Botswana, including all the wildlife-rich areas like the Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe Nationalpark including the Chobe Riverfront and the Kalahari. We explored the Makgadikgadi salt pans in the center of the country, the Gcwihaba Caverns in the West and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the south. We also shortly ventured into Zimbabwe to marvel upon the majestic Victoria Falls. We were lucky enough to spot most of the big, and many small, animals which call Botswana home. These include elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, kudus, oryx, ostriches, honey badgers, bat-eared foxes, serval cats, warthogs, springboks, impalas and many more.

I'M SO HAPPY that I made it back to the incredible East African nation of TANZANIA! My previous (and only) visit here was back in Jan 2018, where I only visited the island of Zanzibar. But I really missed out because the people, culture, food and nature on the mainland is just about as good as you can find anywhere on this planet.

My friends at Qatar Airways reached out and offered to fly me and Deanna on business class to Tanzania, and we couldn't say no! I've never had a better flying experience in my life... and Tanzania was just amazing! We began our trip in Arusha, then went to Ngorongoro Conservation area before heading deep into the Serengeti for 3 nights and finally ending in a town called Moshi. Tanzania is a phenomenal country inside and out, and I can't wait to show you more of this country over the coming 2 weeks!

A Taste Of India: Ep 2 - Backpacking from Goa To Kerala

Watch my first trip to India in this travel documentary, as I spent 6 weeks backpacking around the country.

I spent 3 weeks backpacking through the cities of the north and then another 3 weeks in the beaches and backwaters of the south.

Episode 2 of this travel documentary is the southern half of ny journey.

Starting in Goa I enjoyed the different beaches and vibes of north and south Goa, including Vagator, Arambol and Palolem beach.

I then travelled inland to the beautiful ancient ruins of Hampi.

Working my way further south I relax on a canoe through the stunning Kerala backwaters, before finishing my trip in the cool beach town of Varkala.

AFRICA TRAVEL VIDEO | Zambia | Zimbabwe | Botswana | Mozambique | South Africa | Safaris | Beaches

This Africa travel video covers everything from Africa safaris to beaches and islands. It covers countries like Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, and South Africa. You can see more about Africa travel here:

Backpacking Chobe Park, Kasane, Botswana

Before experiencing the beauty & culture of Botswana, it was a bit of a mystery to me. So far on my journey, it's been the most difficult to research, navigate & plan. The cities are small and spread out. The parks are vast. Most people live in villages along long and barren roads. Let's just say you better have plenty of gas and a plan to get where you're going. I had a good guide book & my pack. My plan was to keep moving. In my time here, I never met another traveller that wasn't on a guided tour. It made me slightly nervous to hear the opinions and concerns of other travellers when I told them my..not plan? Non plan? .. That I had no plan and was not part of a tour. This is what i asked for. I wanted it this way.
I stood at the bordering town of Katima in Namibia with no plan, ride or sense of what I was walking in to. I was alone..for now. People ask 'how can you backpack alone in Africa?!' You're rarely alone. You make new friends daily. Locals, other travellers..everyone has a story and they want to hear yours. You want to hear theirs. We go places to see places, but it's the people that make the places and for me, it's usually the people that make the journey. Doesn't hurt to have a nice backdrop though does it?!
Welcome to Botswana. This was my short time in this amazing country.

Backpacking Africa

This was solo backpacking trip / travel that took place in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe over a two week time period. I was able to bungee jump Victoria Falls, the Devil’s Pool, Orlando Towers, scad freefall, great white shark diving, hike table mountain.

This is a reminder that time is precious and that if you really take advantage of it you can live more in a few weeks than some people will live in their entire lives. Stop waiting around for something to happen, go do it. Do it now because when it's too late it's too late. Do fun, crazy, different things. Do it.

In this particular situation there was a rush to see the rhinos that remain in the wild. Current projections show that they'll wiped out of Kruger National Park (South Africa) in a few years time. According to the guides in Chobe, Botswana the rhinos are already gone

As humans we have so many signs, so many canary in the coal mine moments, yet we don't respond. Be it aging, the loss of a species, the destruction of our planet. Time is limited and we need to take advantage of it.

A Reminder, South Africa
