Nungwi is a village at the northern end of the Tanzanian island of Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar. It's known for the wide, palm-lined Nungwi Beach and a nearby boat-building yard for the production of traditional dhows. The Mnarani Marine Turtle Conservation Pond shelters green and hawksbill sea turtles in a tidal lagoon.

The BEST Place in ZANZIBAR - NUNGWI (Tanzania)
This is Nungwi in Zanzibar! an incredible spot by the Indian Ocean. It has some of the bluest water I have seen and is comparable to the Caribbean and the Quintana Roo coast of Mexico. I had only seen this type of water in places like Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum and Cancun when I was in Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula. But this place had not let me down! I started my journey in Stone Town further down the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania and then went up to Kendwa and finally Nungwi. You will see some drone shots of the beach and also 2 different resorts close to the beach.

here's is the Zanzibar travel vlog I promised,....if you watched my last video (the Nairobi travel vlog) you saw us miss our flight and I also lost my passport....But, thank God I found it (at the convenience store at the airport) and was able to go to Zanzibar and here is that part of the trip. We stayed at a boutique hotel - The Baladin Zanzibar and had a great time relaxing in the sun and we also go to see a bit of Old Town Zanzibar.
