This buffalo knows the true definition of being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
An old buffalo bull was first chased by a pack of lions into a dam, and then had to fend off a crocodile trying to catch it in its jaws.

This epic stand off between 2 big lion coalitions in the south of Kruger National Park has been going on for a while as a territory overlap is starting to happen between the Gomodwane Male lions and the Shishangeni Males, the Gomodwane males is busy pushing the Shishangeni Males out, the old Shishangeni males won't go down with a fight, but the Gomodwane males are 5 brothers and younger. Interesting times ahead to see what will happen at the end.

Two big male lions calling and walking in the rain. So lucky to see these two massive Male Lions walking in the rain and calling. This was on the S114 in Kruger National Park .
African Lion pride - Kruger National Park - South-Africa 4K
Lions are the only cats that live in groups, which are called prides though there is one population of solitary lions. Prides are family units that may comprise anywhere from two to 40 lions including up to to three or four males, a dozen or so females, and their young. All of a pride's lionesses are related, and female cubs typically stay with the group as they age. Young males eventually leave and establish their own prides by taking over a group headed by another male.
Males defend the pride's territory, marking the area with urine, roaring menacingly to warn intruders, and chasing off animals that encroach on their turf.

Kruger National Park: Ep 1 - Berg-en-dal to Satara | An Epic South African Adventure
Off to one of South Africa's most breathtaking National Parks!
Our Kruger National Park trip has begun. We will be travelling from Berg en dal all the way to Shingwedzi.
Gunnland our Landcruiser is fully loaded and nothing beats exploring the Kruger National Park in a rig you love.
We will be camping at the following campsites:
Berg en dal | Satara | Letaba | Tsendze | Shingwedzi | Pretoriuskop
The Southern region of the park is well known for its abundance of wildlife and Predators.
We had some amazing sightings such as lions, hyenas, leopards and some massive elephants.
Heat got the best of us and we got completely drenched in a rain storm.
We are excited to share this journey with you.

Great day today. Had 5 different lion sightings. A male and female came with a couple feet of our car ????????
Kruger Park DAY 9: Unforgettable LION sighting around BERG-EN-DAL | Rhino Perimeter Trail
Day 9 will always hold a special place in our memories. The lion sighting we experienced this morning was exhilarating and something we never thought we would see. It was so exciting tracking them as they weaved in and out of sight, they truly are magnificent and powerful creatures.
The rest of our day was a relaxed one around Berg-en-Dal camp. The rhino perimeter trail is great and a must do activity if you staying there. The small wildlife you come across while on the trail is great.
We ended off another perfect day with an unexpected leopard sighting and a chilled evening around the camp fire.
