ABOUT US.

We’re the Lockwoods: a family with 3 kids, 5 careers, and endless passion for adventure. Two years ago, we decided it was time for Phil's ad agency to abandon the in-person, 5-day workweek. So they 86’d the office and work hours, allowing our own family to start traveling almost constantly. We now work, school, and explore in a different place every week—from our own mountain and beach homes to exotic villas, resorts, and yachts around the world. As we experience and support diverse cultures, we hope to inspire more families to design a life of freedom and adventure.

Because there’s a new American Dream. It’s one that’s void of templated expectations, templated career paths, templated education, templated families, templated homes, and templated lives. Freedom is no longer an American tagline—it’s just the new, global way of life.

Every day that you spend doing something that doesn’t fulfill you to your core, you’re living your life on pause. You’re deferring genuine family time with no guarantee that there will be a tomorrow or a someday. Some people follow that mentality their entire lives. We’ve chosen to never live that way again.

We appreciate you following our journey. The more our channel grows, the more time we can spend traveling to more locations, contributing to these cultures, highlighting local businesses, and sharing inspiring stories from these communities. So please consider liking, commenting, and subscribing so that you can stick with us for the long haul.

The Ultimate MEXICAN STREET FOOD TACOS Tour of Mexico City! (ft. La Ruta de la Garnacha)

►Subscribe to Lalo’s channel:
►T-shirts available now:

Welcome to the best tacos in the world - the ultimate guide to Mexican street food tacos in Mexico City!

I met up with Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha ( he’s from Mexico City, he makes videos about street food as well. And he took me to his favorite tacos in all of Mexico City. We each ate the most tacos in one single day that we’d ever eaten in our lives, and it was the greatest taco day of my life!

Here are all the places we ate in this video:

Tacos Joven - They are known for their tacos de canasta, which are basket tacos, famous in Mexico City. They are served from a basket, and they keep hot the entire day as they are served. The highlight here was the chicharrón taco with chicharrón salsa.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Taqueria El Abanico - This is Lalo’s favorite restaurant in Mexico City for carnitas, the wildly popular braised pork taco. The entire rib in my taco was the highlight, so tender and flavorful.
Price - 20 MXN ($1.08) per taco

El Pescadito de Sonora - Originating from Hermosillo in Sonora, El Pescadito serves Mexican seafood tacos, especially shrimp or marlin tacos. Their tacototo is a taco that will change your life. This was as good as food gets for me.
Price - 35 MXN ($1.89) per taco

Tacos Charly - When it comes to Mexican street food, suadero is one of the greatest, a massive pan of slow braising beef in its juices. When you order your tacos, they slice up the meat, dip your tortilla in the fat, and you eat it with onions, cilantro, and salsa - pure meat heaven.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Taqueria Los Güeros - Tacos de tripa, intestines, are very popular in Mexico City as well. They may not be the most pretty tacos, but they are immensely flavorful and have all sorts of different textures going on in your mouth.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Tacos Los Juanes - This is a great Mexican street food restaurant in Mexico City that serves all sorts of different tacos. We came for the tacos de cabeza and tacos de lengua, both of which were fantastic
Price - 10 MXN ($0.54) per taco

El Vilsito - For Mexican street food in Mexico City, the ultimate taco, the most loved by everyone is no doubt, Al Pastor. Cooked in the vertical spit, a technique brought over from Lebanese immigrants, Al Pastor is usually made with marinated pork that’s juicy and flavorful it might make you weep tears of joy. Lalo and I ordered, not just your ordinary tacos de al pastor, but the King of all tacos, the Gringa!
Price - 50 MXN ($2.70) each

Thanks again to Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha:

This was the greatest taco day of my life. Thank you for watching!

First Time in Costa Rica!! ???????? COSTA RICAN STREET FOOD Tour in San Jose!!

???????? Guatemalan Street Food Tour:
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili:

San José, Costa Rica - Welcome to San José, the capital and biggest city in Costa Rica, and one of the best places to eat Costa Rican food. Today we’re going on an ultimate Costa Rica street food tour, from the market to local restaurants and everything in between. Let’s go eat!

First of all a huge thank you to:
- Yeison and Samantha, follow them @mytanfeet
- Alex and Roberto from Chepe Cletas Tours
For taking me on this unforgettable Costa Rican food tour.

Mercado Central de San José (San José Central Market) - We’re beginning this tour at the central market in San Jose, the best place to take in the sights, sounds and ingredients of Costa Rica. Soda Tala, San José Central Market ( is without a doubt one of the city’s best stalls, known for their Gallo Pinto (Rice and beans) - the national dish of Costa Rica. We also tried Marisquería Brigitte for their Cadosas (Ceviche with Picaritas chips), which is something else you don’t want to miss. Finally, La Sorbetera de Lolo Mora is a perfect sweet finish to any market tour in San Jose.

Super Cholo Gigante at Super Cholo Gigante, San José Meat Market - After walking around the market, we then headed to the Meat Market and in the back there’s a restaurant that specializes in bocas, or small places of food. Here you can get all the classic Costa Rican foods, authentic and cooked to perfection.

Empanadas at La Empanadota - You can’t come to Costa Rica without trying an empanada and everyone seems to have their favorite. When they are deep fried hot and fresh and drizzled in five sticky sauces, they are hard to resist.

Next up with tried Costa Rican Coffee at Café La Mancha ( and it was the perfect afternoon boost.

And finally we tried some unique Ice cream at the famous Corazón Contento Pastelería, San José, Costa Rica (

Again, thank you to Yeison and Samantha from My Tan Feet, and Alex and Roberto from Chepe Cletas Tours for taking me around San Jose, Costa Rica!

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO - Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago and one of the things I was most excited to try when I was there were the Trinidad scorpion chilies - lab tested at 1,463,700 Scoville heat units - making it one of the hottest chili peppers in the world! The scorpion peppers are indigenous in Trinidad and Tobago and today we’re going to try them out.

Big thank you to #visitTrinidad for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen! Guide to the things and food in this video:

Kerryann Sultan’s Pepper Farm in Cunupia - Our first stop on this ultra spicy food tour in Trinidad is Kerryann Sultan’s Pepper Farm, where they are responsible for growing some of the best scorpion peppers you’ll find. It was so cool to see the source and how they grow.

Bertie's Pepper Sauce ( - Hot pepper sauce is one of the joys of eating food in Trinidad and Tobago and so it was amazing to see the process of one of the best hot pepper sauces in Trinidad.

Quan Kep's Pork Shed ( - Next we’re heading over to Couva, Trinidad & Tobago, to Quan Kep's Pork Shed, know for their crispy fried pork and Trinidadian Chinese dishes. The food was amazing, the crispy pork and the hot peppers - and the fried pork with the Moruga scorpion chili. Chinese food is yet another cultural representation of Trinidadian food.

Sylvie's Roti Shop ( - San Juan, Trinidad & Tobago - Finally to complete this extra spicy food tour we went to one of Zaaks favorite roti shops for rice and dal and accompanying dishes. And this is where I tasted the true power of the Trinidad scorpion - absolutely fire!!

Puerto Rican Food | Puerto Rico Food Vlog | San Juan Food | Travel Vlog | @CPsays

Hello people, how you all have been doing? In this video, I will be sharing with you all the Puerto Rican food that I ate during my stay in Puerto Rico at Dorado beach.

To start with all the Puerto Rican food there was an ice cream bar at the hotel when you enter there, this was guava ice cream then later that night I ate by myself at Koa which is a steakhouse property as well. You'll get here some marmalade butter with bread.

For my main dish, I actually got sides because I didn't want to eat too much, I was really late so this was a Caesar salad with anchovies with a king crispy skin salmon. My rating for Koa is 7 out of 10, they had a great service but the food was only okay for the price point.

There's some good crudite very expensive vegetables, they are farm fresh got radish bell pepper which was a very nice way to cut bell pepper.

Now if you're balling on a budget because you spent it on the hotel or you're there for work, this is where you gotta go eat next up is about positivo sandbar, this is a very romantic restaurant that's kind of like Japanese tapas and I got a chance to eat here by myself and enjoy good Sapporo so that was very exciting as I was craving very much for Asian food.

Another stop we tried Indian Puerto Rican fusion dish for our appetizer, we had a snapper pakora and an empanada, it was very good I was very hungry. I would be giving this 10 out of 10 and would recommend giving it a try.

I was really happy just that I didn't have to rely on room service which happens a lot when we go to these types of events for work, so I was lucky to be able to explore.
