One of my favourite routes on the island of Antigua.
The journey starts somewhere around Shirley Heights than continues through villages of Falmouth and Swetes later heads West via Fig Tree Drive and Old Road to Curtain Bluff Resort

Fig Tree Drive est une route pittoresque qui se situe dans le quartier sud-ouest de l'île.
D'une longueur de 7,5 km, elle traverse une forêt tropicale humide et la végétation y est par conséquent très luxuriante.
En bordure du chemin, on y retrouve plusieurs arbres fruitiers tels que des bananiers, manguiers et cocotiers.
C'est sur cette route que se situe le site Antigua Rainforest Zipeline Tours. A cet endroit, les multiples tyroliennes vous permettront de vous élancer du haut des airs dans cette magnifique forêt tropicale.

Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout and gun battery. The Lookout. This high point (about 490 ft.) affords a superb view of English and Falmouth Harbours, the best view in Antigua. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset and early evening when all of English Harbour is all lit up.

The BEST VIEW of Antigua - Shirley Heights Sunday Nights!
The absolute best sunset views are at Shirley Heights in Antigua. Every Sunday night there is a BBQ party with steel drums, rum drinks and great food.
If you've got the energy the Shirley Heights Lookout Trail is an hour long hike to the top.
