This video is about a short stop over in Qatar. I only had 18 hours to see as much as I could in Doha.
My name is Sebastian Graça da Silva (which is to long, hence why Mr GdS) and I am a British/Portuguese expat living in Bali, Indonesia. Being away from my family and friends I decided to make a video blog about my life here to share with them and any one else interested.

This guerilla style ethnographic series are firsthand accounts of 11 Black people’s accounts of living in the emerging global city of Doha, the capital of the Gulf Coast Country nation of the State of Qatar. These members of the African Diaspora are “western” by experience, hailing from the Canada, Guyana, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, and the United States. Their professions include consultants, educators, engineers, medical professionals, military consultants, and students, all of whom are attempting to amalgamate and function to the life in Doha. All of the participants happily shared their experiences to provide a voice to the Black expatriate story of Doha.

During the trip to Vietnam, we have a connection in Doha Qatar and a waiting time of about 6-7 hours. We chose to take a tour of about three hours from the city of Doha and surrounding area.
We leave the airport for heading to the Fanar Qatar Islamic Cultural Center and we visited Souq Waqif and after we have a tour of Doha and Qatar Katara Cultural Village with his visual art gallery, its magnificent acoustics amphitheater and we finished our visit to Porto Arabia Carousel with all the luxury of the place and other a Ferrari showroom.
Lors du voyage vers le Vietnam , nous avions une connection à Doha Qatar et un temps d'attente d'environ 6-7 heures . Nous avons choisi de faire une visite d'environ 3 heures de la ville de Doha et les environs. Nous avons quitter l'aéroport pour ce diriger vers le centre culturel islamique Fanar Qatar et nous avons visité Souq Waqif et après nous avons une tournée de Doha et du village culturel de Katara Qatar avec sa galerie d'art visuel , son magnifique amphitéatre acoustique et nous avons terminé notre visite au Porto Arabia Carousel avec tout le luxe de la place et autre un show room de Ferrari.

For a year we are active as A.F.B. media GmbH in Qatar. With a great team, we produce digital magazines, photo-stories, and a lot of multimedia. We look with excitement to the future. The video was produced exclusively with the iPhone5 for fun. It shows only a small excerpt of living and working in Qatar.
