Today we headed to Mt cook and decided after a quick look at the glacier to do the Hooker Valley walk which was gorgeous! Even though the walk claims to take 4 hours, it only took us just over 2!

Kaikoura is a coastal town on the South Island of New Zealand. It’s known for its abundant wildlife and its sperm whale population. The Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway winds from the town centre to lookout points at Point Kean. Close by, the rock platforms are home to a colony of New Zealand fur seals. The 1800s Fyffe House is a cottage built on a foundation of whalebones, with displays on the town’s whaling past.
Te Aumiti / French Pass is a narrow and treacherous stretch of water that separates D'Urville Island, at the north end of the South Island of New Zealand, from the mainland coast.

Here's a little summary of our unforgettable time on the other side of the world. New Zealand gave us the opportunity to explore its natural beauty, meet its more than friendly inhabitants and experience their way of life, in a way that will always stay in our hearts. We're so grateful for the mass of (mostly positive) experiences we made and all the friendships we struck up, which will hopefully stay for a lifetime. You guys were a big part of our journey and shared heaps of laughter, long nights, one or two drinks, crazy activities, exhausting working days, funny game nights, breathtaking hikes and lazy days at the beach with us.
A big THANK YOU goes to my beloved travel mates Gesine and Clara, without whom I probably would have been lost sometimes. You were always there when I needed to talk and you took over the role of my family far away from home. Together we showed everyone what real girl power looks like. I love you to the moon and back!

Dream of New Zealand 4K
Before starting university in Sweden I wanted to travel the world with my camera. After four moths of travelling through Indonesia and Australia I finally went to my dream destination New Zealand in May 2013.
I rented a van in which I could sleep and cook food in and travelled across the whole country. The whole trip took about a month and I met some wonderful travellers, photographers and locals.
Although driving alone for five hours a day, sleeping in a van without heating in below zero degrees and fighting with my greatest enemy: battery life for the gear, the trip was still the most amazing thing I've ever done.
With this film I want to show the beauty of New Zealand's nature, not the things created by someone, but the plain nature.
This film is my dream of New Zealand.
