Dating in the Philippines: What is Tampo and How to Fix It?
This video is about Filipino dating culture and how to deal with a situation where your girlfriend is giving you the silent treatment, which is called tampo in Filipino.
Camille, who is Filipino, explains that tampo is a common occurrence in Filipino relationships. It is a way for women to express their disappointment or displeasure with their partner without directly saying what is wrong.
The speaker gives several examples of what might cause a woman to give her partner the silent treatment. These include forgetting an anniversary, not showing up for dinner, or not appreciating the effort she put into her appearance.

- I see so many expats losing their head when coming to the Philippines.
The foreigners quickly fall in love and want to marry the girl and take her back to the USA, Australia or Europe. This is a big mistake, in my humble opinion.
Instead, the guy should at least wait to get married until he has been dating or living with the girl 'daily' for 6-12 months.
