수심이 깊은 바다 위에 어떻게
건물이 만들어지고, 공항이 세워질까?
그 비결은 바로 ‘해상 크레인’!
물 위에 뜨는 크레인을 말하는데
자체 동력을 갖춰 배 위에서 턴테이블 기반으로
360도 회전이 가능한 소규모 해상 크레인부터
자체 동력 없이 예인선에 이끌려 움직이지만
여러 대를 붙여서 드라이 토크에 들어 올리는
골리앗 크레인까지 다양한 종류가 많습니다~!
국내 최대 규모의 해상 크레인은 1만 톤 정도 나가는데
이와 맞먹는 무게의 ‘이것’이 울릉도 앞바다에 떴다? 왜?
그런데 이것이 플로팅 독 위에 떠서 배에 끌려가고 있는데
배에 끌려가고 있는 이것은 ‘무엇’일까?
총 활주로 길이 1,200m! 여객 터미널과 계류장이 있고,
50인승 항공기가 취항할 수 있는 공항을 건설 중인 울릉공항!
울릉도의 경우 평균 수심이 23m, 최대 높이는 31m 되는 곳이 있고
200년에 한 번 있을 수 있는 높은 파도를 대비해
방파제의 성토 높이를 평균 46m, 최고 높이는 54m로 건설하는 등
파도의 힘을 약하게 만드는 케이슨 경우도
총 30함의 케이슨이 필요할 정도로
기초 공사에 많은 노력을 기울이는 중에 있습니다.
* 1함의 무게가 12층 아파트를 3개 동을 합한 규모
Q. 이 케이슨들이 제각기 모양이 다른 이유는?
???? 바다에서 발생된 파랑은 불규칙한 각도(방향)를 가지고 있기 때문에,
정면, 직각으로 들어오는 파뿐만 아니라, 경사진 파랑에 대해서도
대비하기 위해서 용도에 맞게, 다양한 모양의 케이슨을 사용하는 것입니다.

✔ 기초 사석을 시공하여 땅을 메꿔둔 곳에 케이슨을 거치

We're in Hawaii for the very first time. We're visiting the island of O‘ahu, staying in Waikiki in the main city of Honolulu. In this video we explore Waikiki (including a visit to Waikiki Beach), where we walk around and get some Hawaiian coffee. We also hike up Diamond Head (a volcanic crater) where we get amazing views of Honolulu. Afterwards we head to Waikiki brewing to try craft beer and it happens to be happy hour!
