Coconut Grove Beach Resort, Elmina - Ghana - DRONE FOOTAGE
We chose to stay at the Coconut Gove Bridge House but there the internet was very slow, we could barely work. Luckily we found out that we were invited the use facilities at the Coconut Grove Beach resort for being guests a the Bridge House.
This saved our digital nomad butts. So we would set out early in the morning to get to the Beach Resort, which is a bit further out of the town, to use their super fast internet, hop into the pool or ocean to cool off and we had our lunches there as well. That was probably our most favorite office in Ghana.

I Traveled To The Central Region Of Ghana, I visited the ELMINA CASTLE, KAKUM NATIONAL PARK AND COCONUT GROVE BEACH RESORT.
I enjoyed my stay in cape coast Ghana.
KAKUM NATIONAL PARK is on coast of southern Ghana, in West Africa. It protects an area of rainforest, home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants, bongo antelopes and primates like the Diana monkey.
The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and hornbills.
The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest.
ELMINA CASTLE was erected by the Portuguese in 1482 as Castelo de São Jorge da Mina, also known as Castelo da Mina or simply Mina, in present-day Elmina, Ghana. It was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, and the oldest European building in existence south of the Sahara.
COCONUT GROVE BEACH RESORT is located on a sandy beach in the Historic Town of Elmina. Guests have access to an 18 hole Golf Course, Horse back riding and can swim in the Pool and in the ocean.

Located in Elmina, Lemon Beach Resort is on the Strip and near a private beach. Notable landmarks in the area include Elmina Castle, and Fort St. Jago, Coconut Groove Beach Resort, Edinaman Senior High School, Elmina Bay Resort.
Drone Footage of the Elmina Castle - Slave Trade History, Ghana - Africa
One early morning during our week in Elmina I went straight to the Castle after getting up to capture some drone footage of the Elmina Castle. The complex is very impressive but seeing it from high up makes you really appreciate it. And you can see a bit more of Elmina, the amount of fishing boats at the river leading to the ocean is mind boggling.
And you get to see the old bridge and the new bridge right next to it. And our hotel was right next to the old bridge as well.
