Our first time in China!
We were anxious and nervous to arrive to Shanghai, China on a 144-HR visa free transit because we heard that if we have stamps from certain countries, we may get rejected and denied entry.
This exemption would allow us to stay in China within 144-hr or 6 days.
It had been our long-time dream to travel China, so we were hoping we could visit the country.
With the policy, we were only allowed to explore Shanghai.
Because of covid and western medias, many people told us not to visit China.
But China was not what we expected. China surprised us!

Shanghai is a very lively, interesting, saturated and pleasant town. It is one of the best cities that I have visited. In this time lapse video I used the footage from two visits to Shanghai in 2014. The first is Chinese New Year... hi Raskalov on the Shanghai tower) It was a trip to China together with dimid vimeo.com/user1232595, During our ten-day trip to Shanghai we met with our friends from Union of Timelapse China vimeo.com/timelapsechina, and also visited several roofs with Vitaliy Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov. During the second visit to Shanghai in the summer I continued to explore the city, and of course the roofs, at the same day with a time lapse photographer from Nanjing warrior_lmd vimeo.com/user36346657! The city is an incredibly huge, and I’m sorry for showing you only its center because I had a little time.. There are delightful road junctions and bridges in Shanghai, you can enjoy them in this video. I do like this gorgeous city and I hope that I will be able to visit it again and again!

Stressful Arrival in Shanghai CHINA ????????
After almost being refused entry, having to buy an extra flight, staying up all night we finally made it to the big city of Shanghai, China. It's my first time in the city let alone country. I managed to get the 144 hour visa and hopefully next time will be visiting places like Beijing, Wuhan, and all sorts of spots around the what is an amazing country. Pretty lucky to be able to see it.

Inside Wuhan ???????? - Are They Hiding Something? (#159)
In early 2020, in a little known Chinese city, an event that would change the world forever began. That city, of course, was Wuhan. I’ll never forget it. I was living in Shanghai at the time, and was getting ready to take a vacation for the upcoming Chinese New Year, the biggest holiday in the country. A little over a month later, as the outbreak slowly spread to other cities and eventually other countries, I decided to catch a flight back home to New York and ride out the madness there. I figured it’d all be over in a few months. Little did I know, that decision would change my life. China closed the borders soon after, and I was stranded abroad. I had never been to Wuhan during the 7 years I lived in China. To be honest, I never gave it much thought. Many people assume it’s some backwater place, the kind of city where people were eating bats. On my return trip to the country, I wanted to actually visit the city and see if that was a fair description. Wuhan is hardly a small town: it’s the 8th largest city in China. It also has a very important history that stretches way back past 2020. But of course, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see where everything began 3 years ago. I had to see it for myself.
