Explorando Bambadinca: Educação, Tabanca e Energia Solar

Nha Bidjon Grande.

Guinea Bissau || Why You Should Visit It Right Now #travel #guineabissau

Guinea Bissau || Why You Should Visit It Right Now

In this video, we are going to give you 5 reasons why you should visit Guinea Bissau Right Now.

Many people confuse Guinea Bissau, that small country on the west coast of Africa, with others like Guinea Conakry, Equatorial Guinea, or New Guinea.

Guinea Bissau, which is listed 7th among the 15 least visited countries on earth, is one of the most amazing countries I have ever visited. This is a place where you can still experience the true and unspoiled Africa, far from large hotels and tourist resorts and among the local population.

Guinea Bissau is a small developing country on the West Africa coast, between Senegal and Guinea Conakry, and was until 1973 a Portuguese colony.

Guinea Bissau, unlike the frequent news associated with political instability, which gives it a negative image, is a safe country, with friendly and welcoming people. Anyway, as in any place, you should be careful to go to certain more isolated places, especially at night.

So, Why should you visit Guinea Bissau?

00:00 **Intro**
01:03 **Reason 1: Just because!**
02:30 **Reason 2: Guinea Bissau has a great archipelago off the coast.**
04:05 **Reason 3. Tourism equals money equals development.**
05:29 **Reason 4. The People and the food**
07:35 **Reason 5. Because it is an undeveloped and unspoiled country.**

In this video, we are going to give you 5 reasons why you should visit Guinea Bissau as soon as possible.

GUINEA-BISSAU: Visas in Bissau and political rallies // EPS 7.

What do you think about when you hear the name of the country Guinea-Bissau? I have to admit that I didn't know much about Guinea-Bissau before I visited. But that was about to change:
After Gambia we drove into Senegal again and from there took the closest border to Guinea-Bissau. Our first destination: The capital Bissau to get the visa for Cote D'Ivoire that was denied to us in Dakar.

On our ride through Guinea-Bissau we realized quickly that it's one of the most laid back countries we visited so far - and we were invited to join the rallies of the two competing parties for the presidential election in the town Gabú (there was not much a choice to avoid this though, all places that sold food were as well packed with the people taking part in the rallies).

Join me for the journey through Guinea-Bissau and get to know this country that is one of the least traveled in the world.

//NOTE: videos were recorded before I had a Youtube Channel - initially used for my Instagram stories. That's the reason for the close ups of my face - they were recorded vertically. I still decided to use them - that's the authentic footage I have and I can't change that anymore. Remember: I just started out with filming and cutting - its a learning curve and far from perfect! If you mind seeing my nose hair every now and then, I can highly recommend you to skip this part of the journey and join again when I will publish my next trips after the country Benin with hopefully improved footage!

// Welcome to the journey! I am Lea, a journalist and author and I want to take you with me on a motorcycle overloading adventure to all the wild and beautiful places in the world!

//Join the first stage of my trip around Africa along the coast of Westafrica through 12 countries: Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea-Conakry, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin.
Time of the journey: November 2019 to Feburary 2020

// I circumnavigated the world solo from 2016-2017 and now I am going to all other places I have not seen yet. Now on the channel: my motorcycle trip around africa/ the first stage of the journey through westafrica.

Festival de Bubaque

Cobiana Communications co-produces and implements the Festival de Bubaque, a three-day music festival in the Bijagos Archipelago that takes place every year on Easter weekend. The Festival is a platform for promoting the Bijagos Archipelago and of Guinea-Bissau in general. It is a meeting place for national artists of reference, renowned international artists, and the music and folklore of the Bijagos. The Festival was created to recognize, respect and highlight the Bijagos Archipelago as a globally important preserve of biodiversity and human culture and is a vehicle for producers, visitors, and Bijago people to preserve and promote these unique and precious aspects of the Archipelago. All visitors are considered guests of the Archipelago, of the Bijogo people, and of the land itself.
