My name is Alexander. I’m the co-owner of a ONE Michelin star restaurant, and I’m on a mission - to find inspiration in gastronomy.
I love fine dining, good wine and sharing what I know with other people.

Geranium is located in Copenhagen, but not where you might expect a 3-Michelin star restaurant to be. It’s not on the high street, it’s not in a trendy neighbourhood, nor a 5 star hotel. It’s actually in a football stadium!
The genius in the kitchen is head chef Rasmus Kofoed. His name is now undoubtedly synonymous with Scandinavian top gastronomy. The 48-year-old Danish chef is the first and only chef in the world to have stood on the podium of the world's most prestigious cooking competition three times, winning the iconic Bocuse d'Or statuette in bronze (2005), silver (2007) and gold (2011).
The three statues still have a prominent place in the world's best restaurant, Geranium. With 3 Michelin stars, Rasmus Kofoed's restaurant not only entered the gastronomic elite in 2016, but it was also named the world's very best restaurant on the list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants last year.

Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

VLOG 06: I am starting a video blog about me travelling throughout the world Travel with me. I work as a fly attendant and get to be in different spots of the globe each few days. I hope you will enjoy flying with me and will discover worth to see places.
This video is about me visiting Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been to the famous colourfull Nyhavn, Little Mermaid statue from the story books, plenty of royal castles and Christianshavn district, known for its Christiania village. Enjoy :)

Ever wondered what it is like to visit a Danish supermarket? Come on a quick tour around one of Denmarks most iconic grocery stores, Irma. Which by the time you may be watching this will have closed down and been taken over by the Co-Op. So it really is the last time you will get to see this place, a bit of a snapshot of the beautiful design and the high quality aesthetic.
I look at what a mackerel salad is! Some of the typical Danish foods. And generally try to cover what it is like to go round a Danish food store. I take in every isle.
It's the first store tour I will do. I cover briefly the nature of the store, we look at some of the fresh foods and non-food items. At the time of filming the exchange rate was for every 100 DKK = 14.50 USD. So prices are pretty steep, but the quality is there too.
