RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - First time eating Brazilian steakhouse bbq churrascaria! #Brazil #RioDeJaneiro #BrazilianSteakhouse

One of the most famous Brazilian foods around the world, is a Brazilian steakhouse bbq, and you’ll find Brazilian steakhouses all over the world. But to be honest I had never been to any outside of Brazil - and there was no better place to have my first Brazilian meat churrascaria experience than in Brazil.

Churrascaria Palace (Map: - We chose to go to Churrascaria Palace, a meat restaurant located in Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I could smell the aroma of the roasting meats, and it was a great upscale, yet laid back atmosphere, with live music.

Chef Silva took care of us from the moment we stepped in and first showed us the kitchen where the meats were being roasted. It’s very interesting to learn about the different cuts of meat that they use in Brazil, which are unique to Brazil. One of the unique and beloved types of meat is cupim, which comes from the beef hump from Zebu cattle.

Once Chef Silva started bringing us meats, he did not joke around - the Brazilian steakhouse bbq meats started flowing non stop. A Brazilian steakhouse bbq is typically served Rodízio, meaning it’s all you can eat, but the meat is not served buffet style, but rather it’s served to you at your plate. They slice it in front of you, and then you use your tongs to grab the meat as its sliced in front of you.

Chef Silva served us 14 types of meat, including some Amazon river fish. He told us he only served us the premium cuts, and there were many other less premium cuts that we were too full to even try.

Brazilian food is often heavy on the meat, and there’s no better way to experience Brazilian meat than with a churrascaria!

70-YEAR-OLD All You Can Eat BRAZILIAN RODIZIO STEAKHOUSE - 14 MEATS!! | Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

???????? @rio4fun
???? YOO2 RIO DE JANEIRO BY INTERCITY:

As my first day in Rio de Janeiro came to a close, I headed out to have some authentic Brazilian barbecue! Join me as I dine at a 70-year-old Brazilian rodizio steakhouse, complete with 14 different meats, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

???????? RIO4FOOD:
???????? RAFA:

My evening started at Churrascaria Palace, a steakhouse in the Copacabana Beach area, with Guilherme and Rafa from Rio4Fun and Rio4Food. It dates back to 1951 and is the best place in town to eat meat and foods from all over Brazil!

Inside, it reminded me of an American steakhouse. On the wall is a mural of Bossa Nova musicians. There’s a minibar and a dining room in the front. In the back is the kitchen, where we saw some premium cuts of meat like ancho, picanha, beef sashimi, lamb ribs, and more!

I tried some beef sashimi, which was super hot but juicy and tasty. Smelling all the cooking meat was making me salivate! I couldn’t wait to eat!

Back at our table, we had some sparkling water with lime juice. It was so refreshing! There were lots of options. Their buffet wasn’t out because of COVID, but we could still order from their buffet menu.

We started with some oysters and hearts of palm, which are so crunchy and moist. Then, we got some picanha, chorizo, mushrooms, carrots, and cucumbers. The waiters come to your table with the meat, and you can let them know if you want it or not.

The picanha was high-quality and medium rare. Then, we moved on to some skirt steak and prime rib, which were excellent. The sausage was smoky and tasty, and the lamb chops were local. The Argentine cuts were my favorites! They were bloody and fatty and full of flavor.

The meat is so salty, you need to drink a lot of water with it. I also had some fried banana, which was excellent! It was almost like a dessert.

Next were roasted hearts of palm and leg of lamb. The meat was full of flavor because it came from right off the bone. After a quick break, we went for the ancho steak from Uruguay and the beef ribs, which fell apart in my mouth!

My last piece of meat was some top sirloin duck. I was so full! It was unique and not my favorite but still good! Then, we ended with dessert: papaya with liquor for Guilherme and lingua de gato for me!

The lingua de gato, or cat’s tongue, is made of chocolate bars and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup. I was the perfect way to end the meal. Guilherme’s dessert was like a smooth papaya yogurt!

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Food in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro! #RiodeJaneiro #BrazilianFood #favela

Favela - An unregulated, informal neighborhood in Brazil. There are estimates of as many as 1,000 favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Many of the favelas in Rio de Janeiro are full cities within themselves, where nearly everything is available.

It’s without a doubt that a lot of crime and organized underground criminal activity happens and is controlled in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. However, favelas across Brazil are home to some of the most hard working, friendly, happy, and creative people in Brazil as well. So in this video my goal was to meet and to highlight some of the amazing people that call favelas home.

Rocinha - The first favela we visited was Rocinha, the biggest favela in Rio, one of the biggest in Brazil. We met up with Guilherme who took us on a walking tour to some viewpoints and to some Brazilian food places.

Sabor da Roça - The most well known little snack shop on this street in Rocinha, we stopped for a coxinha, one of the top Brazilian food snacks. It was packed with chicken and with some hot sauce it was amazing.
Price - 2.5 BRL ($0.63)

For lunch we stopped at an alleyway restaurant in Rocinha, where he cooked up a lunch set included beef ribs, cassava, pasta, rice, and beans. It was simple, but delicious and hearty.
Price - 10 BRL ($2.52)

Morro da Providência - Favela number two is one of the first favelas of Rio and located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, near the port and up on a hill on the side of the cliff. We met up with Jura, who is an absolute Brazilian food cooking legend and an amazing person.

One of Jura’s most famous dishes is nhoque de camarão, an Italian but Brazilian potato noodles in Jura’s own creation sauce of shrimp and coconut milk. It was simply outstanding, all made from scratch.

But the dish I was most interested in eating and which Jura expertly cooked, again from scratch was her feijoada - often considered the national dish of Brazil, and one of my personal favorite foods of Brazil as well - there are few dishes of the world more comforting than beans and pig parts with rice. When you’re in Brazil, you can eat feijoada at many restaurants, but home-cooked is by far the best.

Thank you Jura and Elena!!

This was one of the best days I had in Brazil in terms of learning, meeting people, and food, and it’s an experience and memories I’ll never forget.

You hear a lot of the negative that comes out of favelas in Brazil, and it is true. However, the positive side and the amazing people, are not often recognized, and it was truly memorable to see and learn about this side of hope in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

All You Can Eat BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE BBQ!! Endless Steak for $11 | Porto Alegre, Brazil

???????? @rio4fun
???? HOTEL INTERCITY CIDADE BAIXA:

After spending two days in Brazil’s seafood and party capital, Florianopolis, I finally arrived in its meat capital following a five-hour road trip south. Join me on an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse adventure in Porto Alegre, Brazil!

My meat-eating adventure started at Freio de Ouro Churrascaria, a popular Brazilian steakhouse in the city, with my friends Guilherme and Rafa from Rio4Fun and Rio4Food. They sell 12-15 different cuts of meat, and you can eat never-ending meat for roughly R$60, or about $12 USD!

???????? RIO4FOOD:
???????? RAFA:

In the kitchen, I got to watch as they cooked tons of cuts of meat, including lamb, top sirloin, chicken hearts, chorizo, ribs, and more. It’s a meat paradise! For most of the meat, they just put rock salt on it and then just grill it, but they also have some that they grill covered in cheese!

I started with pork ribs, beef ribs, top sirloin steak, spicy pork sausage, and cheese with guava. The beef ribs were salty and juicy. It was insanely good! But I needed to take it slow so I wouldn’t get full too fast!

The top sirloin with parmesan was well done but so tasty! The cheese was super gooey. I also tried some juicy and fatty skirt steak, which was nice and crispy on the outside.

The main cuts that are popular in Porto Alegre are the vacio, picanha, and ribs. Next, I jumped on the chicken hearts. I love organ meat. They’re a little salty and have a nice, iron-rich flavor.

Then, the waiter brought some top sirloin steak and sliced it off the skewer right at our table. I prefer my meat a little red and bloody. It was so buttery! I also had some sheep, which was a little gamy and crispy on the outside. I couldn’t get enough of it! I was in meat heaven!

Next, the waiter brought some entrecôte, which is a thin, boneless ribeye steak that’s cut from between the ribs. It’s one of my favorites and is soft, juicy, and rare. You can choose how rare or well-done you want your meat here! My mouth was watering after every bite.

Next were chicken thighs, which were crispy on the outside and a little fatty. So tasty! Then, I tried some of the fried cheese with guava. It’s like membrillo, a dish I loved in Spain. It’s a sweet and salty combo.

Then, we headed over to the buffet. At the salad bar, they had salads, cheese, olives, condiments, and lots of Brazilian craft beers. I got a banana salad, feta cheese with herbs, ravioli, roasted kale with garlic, and caramelized pumpkin.

The kale was awesome, and the pumpkin was so sweet. The ravioli with bacon and cheese wasn’t my favorite, but the pumpkin with the feta was outstanding! The feta was salty and crumbly.

Then, I got some pineapple as a digestive afterward. They also have desserts like flan and a tiramisu-like chocolate pie. The pineapple was sweet and crunchy, with a nice burst of juice! Then, I got some flan and a mousse-like chocolate pie that was similar to tiramisu.

What an outstanding all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse experience in Porto Alegre, Brazil!

Street Food in Brazil - Rio de Janeiro! #Brazil #RioDeJaneiro #BrazilianFood #streetfood

Ever since I first learned about the city of Rio de Janeiro when I was a kid growing up, I have wanted to visit. Finally, the time has come. In this Brazilian street food tour in Rio de Janeiro, we’ll go to eat some of the best street food snacks and dishes, some hole in the wall style Brazilian food restaurants, and also visit some of the most unbelievable and gorgeous sights and attractions in Rio de Janeiro. It’s one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited.

Here’s the Brazilian food and things we did:

Mineiro, Sausage Sandwich - 5 BRL ($1.26) - For Brazilian breakfast we headed to Mineiro for his neighborhood grilled sausage sandwich, topped with his house made aioli dressing, cheese, and lettuce, and his own home-made chili sauce. He’s not only an amazing guy, but his sausage sandwich is outstanding. When you’re in Rio de Janeiro, you don’t want to miss it. Located just outside Siqueira Campos MRT Metro station (Map: sets up in the morning about 7 am.

Trem do Corcovado - 65 BRL ($16.44) - Christ the Redeemer - I pre-bought tickets online for the tram, so when we arrived we just picked up and printed the tickets. The tram took about 20 minutes and Christ The Redeemer at the top was breathtaking.

Selaron Steps - Another attraction in Rio de Janeiro that I wasn’t going to miss was the Selaron Steps, created by Chilean artist Selaron. They are so cool and so iconic.

Lunch at Bar Rex - For some seriously meaty Brazilian food, Bar Rex is the spot. They serve an major selection of drinks, but they also specialize in food like roasted chicken, sausages, and the oxtail. The food was outstanding, and the owners are just so cool. Location:

Ipanema Beach - World famous, one of the most well known beaches in the world, and for a good reason - the scenery is spectacular. We had a tea with Marcelo (5 BRL ($1.26) and then tried some of the Brazilian local favorite comfort Biscoito Globo cassava snacks. Finally, another iconic Brazilian drink is the caipirinha (15 BRL ($3.79) made on the beach.

Copacabana Beach - Next up on this Brazilian street food and attractions tour we stopped at the famous Copacabana Beach and had a coconut (6.50 BRL ($1.64) and continued on the Red Beach in Urca to get a good view of Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar).

Bar Urca - Also in Urca, you’ll find Bar Urca, an old food and bar establishment that’s famous for serving empada de camarão (6.50 BRL ($1.64), shrimp filled pastries. Many people order and then sit on the edge of the water in the evening. Location:

Bar Gato de Botas - A Brazilian boteco is a bar and restaurant that serves small plates of food similar to tapas. The owner of Bar Gato de Botas is a legend and his plates of Brazilian food are delicious. Location:

Brazilian meat kebabs - Finally to end this incredible street food tour of Rio de Janeiro, we returned back to the same spot where we had breakfast, but in the evening, a different yet equally friendly man sets up selling Brazilian meat kebas and home cooked Brazilian food. When you order a kebab, you can get it stopped with cassava powder and drenched in hot sauce - it was so good. Location: Sets up in the evening about 6 pm.

Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful city and this Brazilian street food tour and attraction in Rio was amazing - the food, the people, the scenery.

CURITIBA, BRAZIL - Curitiba is located in the Paraná state of southern Brazil. It’s a pleasant city, and they known especially for meat. In this video we go on a Brazilian food tour of Curitiba, explore some of the iconic meat dishes of the city, and eat a 5 kilo family sandwich! #Brazil #BrazilianFood #hugefood

Mercearia Fantinato - Carne de onça (Jaguar meat), known as jaguar meat, yet of course not jaguar at all, this steak tartare (raw minced beef) got its name because of the raw meat breath you’ll have after you eat it. It’s mixed table-side, and it’s delicious.
Price - 53.99 BRL ($13.54)

Costelão do Gaúcho - One of the things that Curitiba is known for, and all of southern Brazil, is meat - and especially the beef ribs are among the prized cut. Costelão do Gaúcho is an amazing restaurant that specializes in beef ribs. The owner is a master, treating each rack of ribs with respect and roasting and smoking them with precision. I loved his table saw method of cutting the ribs. The ribs were outstanding, as was the entire meal with all the side salads and dishes.

4 Beans Coffee Co. - We stopped in for a quick coffee, but that turned into a coffee roasting session, which was fantastic.

Lanchonete da Lombada - Here we go, the mega 5 kg. Lombada sandwich. Lombada means speedbump in Portuguese, because it was formerly a street food stall right in front of the speedbump. It was just insane, huge bun, layers of meat, hot dogs, massive quantities of squeeze cheese. It’s not a food challenge, but a very popular local family meal in Curitiba, Brazil. Total price - 50 BRL ($12.45)

Tio Dog (Uncle Dog) - Probably one of the most iconic of all the Brazilian fast food in Curitiba is TIo Dog, specialising in a number of different sandwiches and hot dogs. We got The Philadelphia, a bun filled with hot dogs, a variety of unknown sauces, and little crunchy chip fries. It’s one of those late night impulse foods - not something I’d eat on a daily basis.

Curitiba was fun, and it was a Brazilian food tour of meat!

Brazilian barbecue at a steakhouse in Brazil

You Need to Read This Book Before Traveling to Brazil:

This week my student from the USA came to visit me here at
Rio de Janeiro / Brazil and I took him to visit thetraditional places from here.
One of the things we did was have lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse.
It was very cool. We drank caipirinha, had Portuguese class in person and he got to know one of the most traditional things about our culture:
Brazilian barbecue.
I filmed this whole experience. I hope you like it and that you also get excited to come to Brazil.

For you to arrive better prepared in a Brazilian steakhouse, I wrote an article

Brazilian STEAKHOUSE Experience!! Picanha, Lamb Chops & Chicken Hearts | São Paulo, Brazil

???????? @rio4fun
???????? RIO4FOOD:
???? BE MY GUEST SP:

In this Brazilian adventure, I visit an authentic churrascaria, which is all about the different cuts of Brazilian meat! Join me on my Brazilian steakhouse experience as I try picanha, lamb chops, chicken hearts, and more in São Paulo, Brazil!

My afternoon began at Picanharia do Gaúcho, a local steakhouse in the northern part of the city. It’s one of the best places in São Paulo to have a hearty meal! It’s a large, open-air restaurant with about 40 spaced-out tables, and is full of locals. I was the only tourist! It had a nice breeze coming through it!

I joined my friends Aurèlio from Be My Guest SP and Guilherme from Rio4Fun and Rio4Food for our epic Brazilian barbecue meal. In the kitchen, they were cooking lots of cuts of meat from roast chicken to picanha to lamb. The aroma was unbelievable.

They use rock salt on their huge selection of meat. We started with some dry tips, which is a salty beef that’s super juicy and full of texture. Then I tried a light, smooth, and crisp Antarctica Original Pilsen beer.

Next, our feast arrived! It included a hearts of palm salad with tomatoes and lettuce, polenta, rump steak, ancho, lamb chops, chicken hearts, garlic bread, mint sauce, and more!

I started with the lamb chop, which was smoky, tender, juicy, and fatty! I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s super fresh because it’s local, unlike in the U.S., where lamb is often imported.

The polenta fries were a nice, crispy palate cleanser. I grew up eating it! Next was the picanha, or top sirloin. It was like having the authentic flavor of Brazil in a bite! I chose to not use the mint sauce, as I really wanted to taste the flavors and saltiness of the meat!

Brazilians are extremely proud of their picanha. I also loved the chicken hearts, which were dense and flavorful. I also loved the curried cheese, which was dense, grilled, and smoky. It’s a good, quality cheese from northeast Brazil. The medium-rare ancho, meanwhile, is from southern Brazil and is also common in Argentina and Uruguay. It’s juicy and fatty!

I finished up with some garlic herb bread. It was so incredible. But I couldn’t stop eating the ancho. It was heavenly!

After lunch, we headed to Avenida Paulista, which is like the Fifth Avenue of Brazil. I was so tired after that heavy meal! Because the city is so big, everything in São Paulo is at least 30 minutes away, if not more.

We passed by lots of high rises and stopped by Estadio Municipal, the local soccer stadium. There, we tried coconuts full of hydrating, ice-cold water. It gave me a boost of energy! Then, the vendor cut it open so I could eat the meat inside!

Paulista Avenue is the financial district and runs 2.9 kilometers. It’s huge, with a bike path dividing it, and tons of commercial space along it including McDonalds, Starbucks, gelato places, bars, banks, and more.

You can walk on the bike path, but you have to be careful of bikers and roller bladers! Nearby there were vendors selling arts and crafts, dolls wearing custom clothes, art books, and even airplanes and Star Wars ships out of aluminum cans. I could also see Marvel figurines of Spider-Man and Captain America!

Along the street is Brazil’s 1000th McDonald’s, which is located in an old mansion. There’s also MASP Museum, which is a European art museum. I loved the architecture! They set up a market underneath it every Sunday.

Then, we headed to Bar Do to try some Brazilian craft beers! There, they sell beers from Cervejaria Colorado, where they have 4 beers on draft. I chose an Imperial IPA with honey-like taste!

Next was the regular IPA, which was easier to drink, but I liked the Imperial better. What an awesome local experience!

Authentic BRAZILIAN FOGO DE CHAO!! Real Brazilian Barbecue | Curitiba, Brazil

???? ROSA BRASIL:

???????? RIO4FOOD:

After arriving in the southern Brazilian city of Curitiba, my first order of business was finally trying some Brazilian barbecue! Join me and my friends as we enjoy some authentic Brazilian fogo de chao in Curitiba!

My friends Guilherme and Rafa from Rio4Fun and Rio4Food and I started our Brazilian barbecue adventure at Rosa Brasil, a family-owned restaurant about 20 minutes outside of Curitiba. Fogo de chao is a type of barbecue where the meat is cooked vertically over ashes for eight hours. I was hungry and super excited, even though it was super rainy and wet out!

We could see massive beef ribs cooking over the ashes, as well as chicharrones (pork skin) and more. The meat looked so salty. You can eat it with rice, beans, casava, sausage, mashed potatoes, salad, yucca, watermelon, and more. It’s all traditional Brazilian comfort food!

The restaurant was packed inside, with only a few people outside because of the weather. We decided to eat outside. Outside, I tried some young and fruity Brazilian merlot. Brazil produces a lot of wine, but they just don’t export it. Brazil won a competition for their white wine back in 2016!

I met the owner, Andrew just before our barbecue feast, which would only cost us R$ 64.90, or roughly $12 USD, for unlimited food! Drinks are extra, and everything is basically buffet-style. I got a little bit of rice, black beans, pancetta (pork), and yucca because I wanted a lot of meat!

The pork belly had a lot of meat and fat on it, and the skin was nice and crispy. It was so big, juicy, and chunky and very different from the kind I eat in Miami. It blew my socks off! Then, I tried some grilled pineapple, which was smoky, juicy, and spongy. The bromelain in it aids in the digestion of meat!

The rice contained bits of rib was was super tasty. I also loved the caramelized pumpkins with the ribs and farofa (manioc flour) as well. It was such an incredible combination! It was sweet, crunchy, oily, salty, and juicy. The pumpkin was the best!

I also loved the vaca colada, which is a mixture of beef, yellow peppers, red peppers, and potatoes. It was the best beef I’ve ever had and was so insanely tasty and full of mouthwatering textures!

The ribs were also incredible, with tons of meat and gelatinous fat. I couldn’t believe how good it was! They were some of the best ribs I’ve ever had in my life. They were smoky, salty, and crunchy and were perfect for the cold, rainy weather.

Then, I started mixing the rice, beans, and farofa together before Guilherme and I went for another round of ribs. It was full of different textures—crispy and salty skin, gelatinous fat, and meaty muscle. The meat right next to the bone was the best! I was in Brazilian fogo de chao heaven!

There’s a huge Argentine and Uruguayan influence in the food in southern Brazil. They have a huge meat culture that is unparalleled! It’s so different from American barbecue, which is all about sauces. In Brazil, it’s just meat and salt!

There’s also a big German influence here, including with their beer. I got a Patagonia Bohemian Pilsner, which is an amazing and crisp craft beer. They also sell local wine here.

Then, I had some smoky and spicy asado eggplant with chilies. I couldn’t get enough of the ribs and pumpkin together, though. The combination of sweet, dense, and salty was unreal!

For dessert, I got some grilled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top. I needed it since I’d had so much meat. It was a sweet, smoky, juicy, sour, and acidic burst in my mouth!

Best of all, the pineapple was local! It was the perfect way to cap off my authentic Brazilian fogo de chao experience!

South BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE!! Etrecote, Pork & Chicken | Porto Alegre, Brazil

???????? @rio4fun
???? HOTEL INTERCITY CIDADE BAIXA:

You can’t visit Brazil without indulging in some authentic Brazilian barbecue! It’s some of the best meat you’ll eat on the planet and is worth the hype in every way. Come along with me as I visit a South Brazilian steakhouse and enjoy everything from entrecote to pork to chicken in Porto Alegre, Brazil!

My afternoon began at Komka, an a la carte Brazilian steakhouse that has been in business since 1967. It focuses on serving quality meats from the state of Rio Grande do Sur!

???? KOMKA:

My friends Guilherme and Rafa from Rio4Fun and Rio4Food introduced me to Deco, the owner. He used to be a professional basketball player!

Inside are a big dining hall and two areas—an old area and a new area. In the kitchen, I saw them cooking chicken, chicken hearts, and tons of cuts of meat. Everything smelled so good!

At your table, you order whatever you want and they’ll cook it in the kitchen and then serve it to you at the window. They serve premium cuts of meat seasoned with high-quality rock salt.

The owner served me some Heilige Pale Ale, a craft beer from Santa Cruz do Sol, a town in the state. They also have lots of other beers and wines. It was light, crisp, and a little cloudy. It tasted like a sessionable IPA.

I sat on the older side of the restaurant, which has high ceiling and blue-and-yellow walls.

We ordered skewers with sausage, chicken, beef, tomatoes, and onions; parmesan-crusted chicken wrapped with bacon; entrecôte (ribs filet); polenta; Greek salad; and fried yucca.

First, I tried some of Guilherme’s sparkling water, and then we jumped onto our entrecôte, which was super high quality and very fresh. I added a bit of chimichurri, which was really good!

I don’t usually love chimichurri, but this one enhanced the flavor of the meat instead of masking it. I could taste the Italian influence in the sausages and the polenta.

The parmesan-crusted chicken wrapped with bacon was juicy and a little salty. The cheese was a little crispy. It is served with a soft, creamy potato salad with bacon. It’s so good and is light on the mayo. The sausage with the potato salad was so flavorful!

Our fried polenta sticks were crispy on the outside but light and airy in the middle. I tried it with a sweet sauce, which was like a cross between jam and honey.

The pork was also great, but my favorite thing was the baby chicken wrapped with bacon and crusted with parmesan cheese and bacon was my favorite!

Next was the yuca frita. It was great with the sweet sauce, and with the parmesan cheese and olive oil drizzled on top. The smoky sausage with the sweet sauce was also excellent! I was in awe of how diverse Brazilian food is.

I met a customer who gave me some grief about my soccer jersey—it’s of one of the local teams, but not the local favorite! Everyone there was so friendly, from the owner to the staff to the guests. Deco was so hospitable and welcoming!

I also enjoyed a nice Hielije porter, which was my favorite porter of this trip! The owner insisted I try it! It was nice and chocolatey, and ice cold!

Then, we had sagu de vinho for dessert. It contains tapioca pearls, vanilla, eggs, sugar, and red wine. It’s a traditional Rio Grande do Sul dessert. It looked like a grape pudding with cream on top! I could taste the wine in it and I loved how creamy and cold it was!

I ended with several types of cachaca. I loved the honey one! What an epic experience!
