A Day in Roi Et, Thailand | Coconut Cafe Roi Et | The Pool Hotel | Roi Et Tower
Inspired by Joel Bruner, I decided to try and make a YouTube video of my own. Today I was in Roi Et province, in Thailand. In this video I will show you some parts of the day we spent in Roi Et.
We started our morning with a breakfast beside the pool in The Pool Hotel. It was a very quiet morning and the atmosphere at the hotel restaurant was great.
We continued to visit the new Roi Et Tower, which is a beautiful artwork of a building right in the middle of Roi Et city. The park around the tower was absolutely amazing with all the trees and flowers.
Finally, we went to the Coconut Cafe, which is a beautiful restaurant around 29 kilometers from the city center. The food at the restaurant was top notch. We will definitely be visiting that one again!

All of the Thai cuisine in this video is very common at Thai restaurants in Thailand, but you will also find of the dishes as Thai street food. And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since April 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

How Som Tam and Grilled Meat Conquered Bangkok
It's the most common sight in Bangkok- a city where more than 10,000 vendors sell their own variations of a regional cuisine known as Isaan food. But just a couple of generations ago, this didn't exist at all in the capital. So what is Isaan food? Where does it come from and what are the key flavors? And after a few decades stewing in Bangkok's melting pot, what does the future hold for this humble and incredible cuisine?

Aside from their killer Isaan food, they also serve a mix of other regional Thai cuisine.
Everything we have eaten here is delicious. Must try Thai food here are the grilled pork neck (ko moo yang คอหมูย่าง), sun-dried fried beef (เนื้อเเดดเดียว), spicy minced pork salad (larb moo ลาบหมู), coupled with sticky rice and the endless varieties of papaya salads (som tum ส้มตำ). ???? Try Thai cucumber salad (tom tang ตำเเตง) for a different twist to papaya salad, and is so refreshing!
This Thailand Bangkok street food restaurant started as a small stall, in the same location, here in Don Muang about 20 years ago. Today, they have a full operation, and are very busy and popular in Don Muang.
