Welcome to another Berlin Walking Tour! This time we will take a walk around some of the most famous places of the city. You will see the Spree River, busy James-Simon Park, which is close to Hackescher Markt, and the historic heart of Berlin: The Museum Island, one of the most visited sights of Germany's capital. This tour ends in front of the Berlin Cathedral. As Museum Island includes all of Spree Island north of the Unter den Linden, the Berliner Dom is also located here, near the Lustgarten. To the south, the reconstructed Berlin Palace houses the Humboldt Forum museum and opened in 2020. Since German reunification, the Museum Island has been rebuilt and extended according to a master plan. In 2019, a new visitor center and art gallery, the James Simon Gallery, was opened. James Simon Park is located in Berlin's Mitte district of the same name. It is named after the Berlin entrepreneur James Simon. The protected green area is located in a popular nightlife and strolling district of Berlin-Mitte. With 3.9 Million inhabitants Berlin is the most populous city of the European Union. It is surrounded by the state of Brandenburg, and contiguous with Potsdam, Brandenburg's capital. The two cities are at the center of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region, which is Germany's third-largest metropolitan region after the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Main regions. BERLIN, Germany ???????? - Winter Walk (2023) - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Berlin / Germany, the capital of the country is a huge city. We walk often in Berlin. Tonight's route starts at the Reichstag building from where we pass the Kanzleramt. This area wasn't covered on other walks.
We continue via the Brandenburg Gate to the Holocaust Memorial, get to the Potsdamer Platz and eventually back to the area Unter den Linden.
Our walking tour on this winter afternoon finishes at the central Alexanderplatz, having walked a good portion of Berlin's east side along the old wall once dividing the city.

Walking in BERLIN / Germany ????????- Westside Tour - 4K 60fps (UHD)
We are in Berlin again, the capital city of Germany. Many other walks here on POPtravel start in the eastern side. On this walking tour we start at Bahnhof Zoo and check out the western part of the city.
First we walk around the Ku'damm area. We see the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church which is located in the centre of the Breitscheidplatz. The area around the Kurfürstendamm is explored more with with the famous Ka De We department store.
Around the Nollendorfplatz we see some residential area before we head towards the Potsdamer Platz. It is a rather long way yet this center is an important connection between the eastern and western part of Berlin.

We will start the walk near Reichstag building and then go Brandenburg Gate and finish the walk near the amazing Pariser Platz is a square in the historic center of Berlin, Germany, situated by the Brandenburg Gate at the end of the Unter den Linden. The square is named after the French capital of Paris to commemorate the anti-Napoleon Allies' victory at the Battle of Paris (1814), and is one of the main focal points of the city.

Walking in BERLIN / Germany - Long Tour in the Rain - 4K 60fps (UHD)
We picked rainy day in Berlin yet we manage to see several sights on this afternoon. Starting at the Museum Island there is first a little detour to the Gorki Theatre. Then main sights come into view towards Alexanderplatz with the iconic East Berlin TV tower.
We head back in more rain on the wide street Unter den Linden towards the most famous sight of Berlin: the Brandenburg Gate. Checking the nearby Reichstag we go towards Jewish Memorial followed by the Potsdamer Platz. We check the Topography of Terror exhibition along the old wall and end this walk at the famous Checkpoint Charlie which was the old border crossing between East and West Berlin.
Even with the rain there are tourists are on the street. Enjoy!
