Our trip to Placencia, Belize the last week of July was amazing!
It's hard to leave a place that awesome when you just start to get the feel for the place. We friended lots of locals, fell in love with the cuisine and lifestyle. Definitely a place that I could go back to over and over and over.

Here is a highlight reel of my recent trip to beautiful Belize. The majority of the shots are from the DJI Mavic Pro Drone and the GoPro Hero 6. The locations are in Caye Caulker & Placencia. It Also shows a snorkle trip to the Belize Barrier Reef and a boat tour to some of the amazing cayes including King Lewey's island resort.

Placencia is a 16-mile peninsula in southern Belize, surrounded on one side by the Caribbean Sea, and on the other, by a lagoon with views of the Maya mountains. It’s often called the “caye you can drive to” as it has an island vibe, but can still be reached with a car from the mainland.
Placencia is also known for its endless beaches, rustic look and beach-chic vibe. Although once just a fishing village, Placencia now gets a lot of attention worldwide because of its warm, friendly, artistic vibe.

After 12 days in Belize we are ready to start our journey home to Maine. Our last day was spent in Placencia on the beach and in our beach front hotel. It's always sad to end out travels no matter where we go.
