In the South of Guyana is the beautiful Rupununi Savannah. It's an area full of incredible wildlife, a strong community with a proud culture and plus it's an incredible place for adventure lovers. In this Guyana travel vlog I fly from Georgetown to Lethem before visiting Wichabai Ranch where I stay for a few days.

I filmed this video while traveling from Yupukari Village in Central Yupukari to Lethem around June 2019. Yupukari Village is located about 100 miles from Lethem. It is home to the famous Caiman House Eco Lodge. Along the trail is filled with beautiful scenery.

We continued exploring the Guyana interior traveling along the North Rupununi river, first staying at Pakaraima Moutain Inn and then onto Surama Eco-lodge. Finally, we ventured into the jungle to find a Harpy Eagle's nest.
This was an incredible trip to one of the least visited countries in the world. From exploring the Amazon basin, to finding a harpies eagle nest, to staying in community eco lodges and finally flying to Kaiteur Falls - Guyana is a country to add your list.
