WOW!! NIGERIA LAUNCHED $100M KEBULANIA LAGOS FILM CITY PROJECT. A COPY OF WAKANDA CITY.
Lagos State Government have launched a state-of-the-art film city project in Epe, estimated to cost $100m.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday in Ejirin, a community in Epe Local Government Area of the state, said the initiative was aimed at reshaping the African film and entertainment industry.
The project, named ‘Kebulania Lagos Film City’, is a product of a partnership with Del-York International Group and is expected to boost innovation, talent discovery, and storytelling.
Sanwo-Olu in his welcome speech, said, “Today, we embark on a journey that will redefine the landscape of the film industry in Lagos State.

Jubilation As Sample of Oil Discovered In 2 Northern States.
Over a billion barrels of oil found in northern Nigeria, Buhari says as drilling starts.
The president says the country also found 500 billion cubic feet of gas within the Kolmani area of Gombe and Bauchi, and has attracted $3 billion investment already.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday flagged off the first crude oil drilling project in northern Nigeria, on the boundary of Bauchi and Gombe States.
The NNPC had in October 2019 announced the discovery of hydrocarbon deposits in the Kolmani River II Well on the Upper Benue Trough, Gongola Basin, in the North-eastern part of the country.
The commercial quantity discovery was the first in the region after several crude oil explorations in the Upper Benue Trough.
The oilfield will be developed by Sterling Global Oil, New Nigeria Development Commission (NNDC) and NNPC Ltd.

Consumers of rice in Lagos State will soon heave a sigh of relief as Eko rice, a product of the state-of-the-art Imota Rice Mill, will be available for sale in December 2022, Oluwarotimi Fashola, special adviser on rice initiative to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, has disclosed.
He made the disclosure when a team of commodities brokers led by Onyenwechukwu Patrick Ezeagu, chairman, board of the Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE), visited the plant to assess the progress made thus far, and in continuation of the integration of all the stakeholders in the nation’s agric value chain.
