In this video the travel turtles visit Costa Teguise, a beautiful seaside resort on the East cost of Lanzarote, a Spanish island in the Canaries. This footage was shot over 2 separate holidays from the travel turtles, out of season in November and December. We filmed some beautiful footage of Costa Teguise beaches, as well as the town, tapas bars, restaurants and nightlife. Costa Teguise is a resort on the east coast of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. It’s known for its sandy beaches, like Playa de Las Cucharas, a water sports hub.
Lanzarote Aquarium has many marine species, plus an underwater tunnel and touch pools. Restaurants and shops line the lively Pueblo Marinero square, partly designed by local artist César Manrique. West of town, Aquapark has water slides, pools and zip lines.

A quick guide to some of the things to do and attractions in the Lanzarote resort of Costa Teguise.
Costa Teguise is a great family resort or suitable for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday without too many loud bars, it has become a favourite of mine so much so I've stayed there more times than any other resort in the Canaries. It has great beaches, fairly close to the airport and central on the island meaning that you aren't too far from all the other attractions outside of the resort. This video however is all about the places to visit in Costa Teguise itself.

Costa Teguise is a popular resort town located on the east coast of Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands, which are part of Spain. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, and here are some of the notable ones in the Costa Teguise area:
Playa de las Cucharas: This is the main beach in Costa Teguise and is known for its golden sand and clear waters. Hello everyone in this video we cover the 2 mile costal walk down from the Barcelo Lanzarote Active to Costa Teguise.
We will show you the 3 main beaches, (including our Drone footage) pin point where the popular square is (Pueblo Marinero) to give it's official name as we do get asked it's precise location.
First beach up will be Playa Bastin a slightly rocky area but there is easy access to the water, it's great for snorkelling here and is one of the quieter beaches with the bonus of having the Villa Toledo Restaurant right next to it if you were in need of a snack or drinks.
Then we will take you on to Playa De Jablillo a very popular beach cove which is situated right outside the front of The Grand Teguise Playa Hotel which you will see on the Done footage, it's a delightful cove easy access to the sea with it's soft sand, great for all ages young, old and very popular with families, we will take you snorkelling there, truly a great place to while away a few hours or indeed spend a day there.
Then as we come around the headland you get the first sight of Costa Teguise and the main beach Playa De Las Cucharas, the first shops and bars come into view, but before we head off along the 650 meters of Cucharas we are going to have a quick look of how to find the popular square, were we have added a map, a couple of marker points and included some tutorial into the video, if you need to stop the video at this point to get your full bearings of it's where abouts but also or videos are time stamped so you could easily find it again once you have seen all the video.
So onto the rest of the walk and to Playa Del Cucharas we have taken the path which follows the beach but there is plenty of Drone footage covering the beach front and it's wonderful views along the way, this is where most of the water sport activities take place, great for swimming, sunbathing and the small end cove of the beach (just past the Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote) which you will see towards the end of the video is an ideal sheltered part of the wonderful Cucharas beach.

ADULT's ONLY: Hotel Barceló Teguise Beach, Lanzarote on Canary Islands, Spain. My impressions [4K]
This 5-star Adult's Only hotel (local rating) on Lanzarote Island, Spain, convinced through their architectual design and the impressive main pool, so I decided to do a little hotel review or travle vlog, but without comments. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
Overall, I found the ambience and the offerings, including the food, quite pleasant and estethic. A downside was the table service (for drinks) at the buffet restaurnat, which was not exactly friendly and very slow. Also the hotel is not enforcing their policy, that sunbeds cannot be reserved. Even in this upscale hotel, some hotel guests wander at 6am to the pool to reserve the best spots with their towels, despite the explicit house rule prohibiting this.
Nevertheless, I'd absolutely go back there, as the location, the ambiance, the pool and the overall experience was enjoyable, as long as you get a good room. Some of the rooms were fairly dark, due to the design, as you see in the video.
At the time of the video shoot in 2022, masks were still mandatory indoors, that's why you get to see me and my partner wearing those sometimes.

Tonight dated Oct 28. Pueblo Marinero having the Friday night market. It was a busy night market, while filming at the center of the location, happened the woman collapse. Don't know the reason. But there are other woman help her and someone call on the phone to get help from medic. I think.
Im not filming the whole situation. But I hope the woman is OK. I continue filming outside the incident situation, coz I will do filming at the FREE CONCERT for the 5Oth Anniversary of COSTA TEGUISE held in Playa Bastian Parking located Costa Teguise.

Discover and Explore Canary Islands
On the east coast of the island of Lanzarote, within the tourist town of Costa Teguise, is Las Cucharas beach. An urban beach of white sand, it is perfect for families with teenagers as it has areas which are reserved for those wishing to take up the several water sports on offer such as surfing, windsurfing and scuba diving as well as a pedal boat hiring service. The Cucharas beach is, without doubt, a fun beach ideal for all the family.
Of all the beaches in Costa Teguise, Las Cucharas is the most all-round when referring to amenities. At 650 metres long, it is bordered by gardens and a promenade with many bars and shops making it perfect for a relaxing stroll. If going with young children, go to the northern part, you won’t be able to hire sun beds and umbrellas there but you will find very calm water ideal for paddling and swimming thanks to the riprap which protect it from the sea.
