Oh a serious note, serious crime is not an issue in Barcelona. However, pickpocketing is. It happens with all too frequent regularity. However there are things you can do to protect yourself and a video will be coming out shortly with a lot of that information. But the bottom line is, if you make yourself less of a target, the pickpockets will go after those who don't. Yea, it kinda sucks passing off the crime buck, but at least you get to keep your phone and wallet.
