ADULT's ONLY: Hotel Barceló Teguise Beach, Lanzarote on Canary Islands, Spain. My impressions [4K]
This 5-star Adult's Only hotel (local rating) on Lanzarote Island, Spain, convinced through their architectual design and the impressive main pool, so I decided to do a little hotel review or travle vlog, but without comments. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
Overall, I found the ambience and the offerings, including the food, quite pleasant and estethic. A downside was the table service (for drinks) at the buffet restaurnat, which was not exactly friendly and very slow. Also the hotel is not enforcing their policy, that sunbeds cannot be reserved. Even in this upscale hotel, some hotel guests wander at 6am to the pool to reserve the best spots with their towels, despite the explicit house rule prohibiting this.
Nevertheless, I'd absolutely go back there, as the location, the ambiance, the pool and the overall experience was enjoyable, as long as you get a good room. Some of the rooms were fairly dark, due to the design, as you see in the video.
At the time of the video shoot in 2022, masks were still mandatory indoors, that's why you get to see me and my partner wearing those sometimes.

Costa Teguise Beaches, costal walk and town Lanzarote
Hello everyone in this video we cover the 2 mile costal walk down from the Barcelo Lanzarote Active to Costa Teguise.
We will show you the 3 main beaches, (including our Drone footage) pin point where the popular square is (Pueblo Marinero) to give it's official name as we do get asked it's precise location.
First beach up will be Playa Bastin a slightly rocky area but there is easy access to the water, it's great for snorkelling here and is one of the quieter beaches with the bonus of having the Villa Toledo Restaurant right next to it if you were in need of a snack or drinks.
Then we will take you on to Playa De Jablillo a very popular beach cove which is situated right outside the front of The Grand Teguise Playa Hotel which you will see on the Done footage, it's a delightful cove easy access to the sea with it's soft sand, great for all ages young, old and very popular with families, we will take you snorkelling there, truly a great place to while away a few hours or indeed spend a day there.
Then as we come around the headland you get the first sight of Costa Teguise and the main beach Playa De Las Cucharas, the first shops and bars come into view, but before we head off along the 650 meters of Cucharas we are going to have a quick look of how to find the popular square, were we have added a map, a couple of marker points and included some tutorial into the video, if you need to stop the video at this point to get your full bearings of it's where abouts but also or videos are time stamped so you could easily find it again once you have seen all the video.
So onto the rest of the walk and to Playa Del Cucharas we have taken the path which follows the beach but there is plenty of Drone footage covering the beach front and it's wonderful views along the way, this is where most of the water sport activities take place, great for swimming, sunbathing and the small end cove of the beach (just past the Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote) which you will see towards the end of the video is an ideal sheltered part of the wonderful Cucharas beach.
