In this series we explore the beauty and wonder of our home country: the Netherlands!
In this first episode we discover the 'Keukenhof', one of the largest flower gardens in the world, also known as 'The Garden of Europe'. Normally the Keukenhof would attract roughly 1.5 million visitors over a periode of 8 weeks (when the flowers are in full bloom), but this year, because of COVID-19, the park remains closed. Very sad news for the park, but it does create a unique opportunity to capture the park in full glory.
By creating this content we hope to share the beauty of the Keukenhof with virtual visitors worlwide, so all the hard work the park has put into creating this years flower extravanganza doesn't go completely to waste. Of course best experienced with a VR headset!

Barbados 360 - A VR Tour of Huntes Gardens

Take a VR Tour of the beautiful, lush, and relaxing gem of Barbados, Huntes Gardens. If you have ever been to Barbados you have likely heard of it, or have been there. It isn't much of an exageration to say it's a little piece of heaven on earth. Established in a sinkhole, the garden isn't large by botanical garden standards and could potentially be walked through in 30 - 40 minutes, but that is not its purpose. The are various sitting areas scattered around the garden, and you are meant to stroll through the garden at your leisure, really taking it in. You can also see lizards, frogs, hummingbirds, butterflies, and if you happen to go on the right day, wild monkeys!
If you ever head down to Barbados, I would highly recommend you add a half day to your itinerary to go see this treasure! In the mean time, enjoy this video, which does not do it justice!
Barbados 360 - Huntes Gardens (Preview)
Huntes Gardens is a paradise on earth, built by Anthony Hunte in a sinkhole, he has gathered tropical plants from around the world and curated them into an explosion of colour, layers, textures, shapes and sounds! It is not a big garden by botanical garden standards; if you rushed it, you could get through in less than half hour, but that is not the idea here. The idea is to go, take your time, contemplate, experience the place. Think of it as a spa for the eyes and mind. There are numerous sitting areas around the garden where you can sit, relax, and take it all in. I would recommend you plan to spend at the very least an hour.

Welcome to Bridgetown, the capital and largest town of the island nation of Barbados. Originally known as The Town of Saint Michael, it was later called Bridgetown after a primitive bridge across the Constitution River which had been built buy aboriginal peoples who had abandoned the island. Bridgetown and its surroundings are designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The City is approximately 38 square kilometers and is home to 110,000 of the 284,000 Barbadians (or Bajans as they refer to themselves).
Broad Street is the main thoroughfare of the city and is the location of most of the banks' main headquarters, department stores, and restaurants. Two major bus terminals are located in Bridgetown; the Fairchild Street Terminal serves mainly the southern half of the island, and the Princess Alice terminal serves mainly the northern half of the island.
