Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom | 2021 Walkthrough | With Covid Restrictions

This past Monday Meghan and I visited Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida! We arrived around 10:00 AM and had no problem entering the park. Our temperatures were taken and our reservations were checked. We boarded the monorail for a day of Disney fun... Okay, maybe I wasn't that chipper about fighting crowds all day and wearing a mask for like 10 hours straight. But, seeing Meghan having a blast and getting to enjoy all of her favorite rides made me so happy. While riding rides like Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, It's a small world, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

If you're planning a Disney trip and you are immunocompromised then I would say, stay home. While there are restrictions in place there are a ton of people in the park still and social distancing does not exist. But, the magic is still there and can still be enjoyed if you make it a point to enjoy yourself. Just don't eat the food... you won't enjoy that.

So this video was probably the most difficult that I've shot or edited. I love getting beautiful nature shots and cinematic building shots that I can edit together with smooth transitions. Busch Gardens was seemingly easy because they limit the number of people in the park tremendously. This... this was a pain, lol. Out of the thousands of people there only one person decided to not walk in front of me while I was attempting to get a shot and he was holding a camera on a gimbal too.

I hope you enjoyed this video because I seriously put in a whole days worth of editing. Thanks for watching!

[4K] Hong Kong Disneyland - 15th Anniversary Celebration - Grand Opening of Castle of Magical Dreams

UPDATE, Dec 1: Due to the 4th wave of COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland is closed for two weeks until 15 December, though effectively means 'until further notice'.

I know you miss theme parks. That's why this time my vlog is all about aimless wandering. Lose yourself in Hong Kong Disneyland as you experience the sights and sounds of 15th Anniversary Celebration, along with the Grand (re)Opening of the new centrepiece of the park, Castle of Magical Dreams.

Hong Kong Disneyland's 15th Anniversary Celebration began on Saturday, 21 November with the public opening of the new castle hub, which now consists spacious viewing area meant to hold big crowd for the daytime and nighttime shows, including the future nighttime spectacular 'Cherish the Memories'.

To commemorate the opening of the castle, Hong Kong Disneyland has opened a temporary exhibition named 'Building a Dream: The Magic Behind a Disney Castle'. The interactive exhibition details the creative process behind the creation of the Castle of Magical Dreams, from ideation, conceptualisation, and creative choices to construction and materialisation.

The new Castle of Magical Dreams has brought the magic back to Hong Kong Disneyland. After years of hiding behind construction walls, the castle hub provides a much-needed space for visitors to thoroughly enjoy the magical experience that Disney parks are renowned for. Just like that, in a snap of a finger, Hong Kong Disneyland has become, once again, an enjoyable park to visit.

053 Walt Disney World Vacation Tips

Planning a trip to Disney World can be so overwhelming! Where to stay, how to make the most of your FastPasses, whether or not the dining plan is worth it, and how to book advance dining reservations. This week we chat with Karyn Locke from Sand and Snow to get her top Walt Disney World tips.

ABOUT KARYN LOCKE Karyn Locke is creator/lead writer for the travel/lifestyle website Sand and Snow...and everywhere in between! A Disney fan for as long as she can remember, Karyn's happy to share vacation planning tips and tricks to her readers with weekly Disney posts. Follow Karyn on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

WALT DISNEY WORLD TIPS If you are planning a trip to Disney for the first time, Make sure you can spend at least a week to enjoy the parks. To save money on breakfast and snacks, if you have Amazon Prime, a good idea would be to order a prime pantry box and have it delivered to the resort you are staying. Make sure you put the resort you are staying and check in date along with your name, and you can pick it up at the front desk. It is a great idea to book tickets and hotel at least a year before your trip. Another thing to book are advance dining reservations. Advance dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance. FastPass + allows you to book three rides/attractions in advance. After you use those, you can then book another on-site. FastPasses can be booked 60 days in advance (plus the number of days of your stay) if you are staying on-site and 30 days in advance if you are staying off-site. In Animal Kingdom, the safari is best to go at night because the animals are more active and you will not be as hot. Make sure to do your homework before your tip. It will make your vacation less overwhelming. FAVORITE TRAVEL GEAR Karyn and her family love to wear their Disney t-shirts, and great walking shoes!

APP OF THE WEEK My Disney Experience is a great app where you can keep all you tickets and reservations. You can also get wait times and character locations, etc.

Animal Kingdom Morning Walkthrough Tour | October 2020 | Walt Disney World - Orlando, FL

Join us as we take a morning stroll through Disney's Animal Kingdom on Saturday, October 10, 2020. The park opened at 8:00am and we walked right in around 7:45am. Beautiful weather and low crowds overall! Pandora is usually pretty busy first thing as most of the crowds flock that way for Flight of Passage. Aside from that, the park was pretty empty. We walked on Dinosaur and had a minimal wait for Expedition Everest. We hope you enjoy this walking tour!
