Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)

Trotz oder gerade wegen der Corona Pandemie, konnte ich mir einen Lebenstraum erfüllen. Im November 2020 floh ich für 10 Tage in die Südsee. Eine Traumreise die ich mir zu normalen Zeiten nicht leisten hätte können. Corona hat es möglich gemacht. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis an einem der schönsten Orte dieser Welt. Französisch Polynesien ist wahrhaftig ein Paradies. Ich zeige Euch ein paar Bilder von meiner relativ billigen Reise nach Bora Bora.

We traveled to the French Polynesia in April 2022 and our first stop was Bora Bora. We stayed at Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts, a super luxurious resort in Bora Bora. This vlog outlines our travel to the French Polynesia during COVID-19. It was a long travel day but super worth it! COVID-19 restrictions change daily so make sure to check the French Polynesia travel website for the most up to date entry requirements. The day before we left, they changed the requirement to a negative RT-PCR test 72 hours prior to departure.

Jessica and I returned to the resort we honeymooned at, we loved it so much we went back! The Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island is truly unique in French Polynesia. A Polynesian architectural splendour nestled in a botanical garden, over the turquoise lagoon with stunning views of Mount Otemanu, Matira Bay and the multi-hued sunset, just a stone's throw away from the Sofitel Marara on the main island.
We enjoyed jumping off the balcony of our Bora Bora overwater bungalow, kayaking around the island and snorkeling right outside our room. An amazing experience, we hope you enjoy the video. Please give it a thumbs up if you like it. Thanks.
