Feeling a bit hungry so for the first stop, let's hit up the buffets. Now for a while, I really enjoyed the Buffet at the Bellagio, but since the re-opening of Vegas, I've heard they were still in the midst of starting up with only their brunch buffet...and getting things into motion so to speak. So when I passed by the casino and saw a line emerge at 4:00pm, was it a sign that they've brought back their dinner buffet service? Yes, was the case!
I couldn't give up the chance to try one of my favourite higher end buffets on the Vegas strip. Would it be as good as before with their offerings of caviar, assorted seafoods, and king crab? I happily intended to find out!
The buffet was quite the festive and pleasant experience. I was stunned at the quality of the items as well as the overwhelming choices offered (in the best possible way). While there was plenty of seafood to choose from: oysters (raw and Rockefeller style), shrimps, scollops, and fresh sashimi/poke, gone were the days were we saw offerings of crab, king crab and caviar, ... well, at least for the time being (and at least for the current price point).
All seafoods, meats, and everything in between were cooked to perfection, especially the fish! If you go, make sure to indulge in the crab cakes, sea-bass and salmon; definitely do no miss those items, but really, you can't really go wrong when it's a buffet.

Watch Anne Patterson's Another Sky come to life in The Waterfall Atrium. In association with Culture Corps, we present an immersive art installation by Anne Patterson, suspended inside the resort’s Waterfall Atrium. Another Sky encompasses 32 miles of satin ribbon within the soaring 55-foot ceiling of the atrium.
Inspired by the sky, the installation is designed with 3,590 strategically-placed strands of reflective ribbon in 15 colors ranging from navy to plum to Navajo turquoise and emerald.

Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations Las Vegas Room Tour- Room #1102 (2 Person Suite with a View)
On our most recent trip to Las Vegas, we booked a night at the very beautiful Elara Hotel where we were promised a balcony but did not get it. Still, the room was beautiful and the view was amazing... if you like looking at concrete and even if you don't. Rooms at the Elara go for $100-$125 a night but I suspect we received an upgrade somehow ( ladies tend to get that treatment). And they are connected to Planet Hollywood Casino and the mile-long mall, so there's access to lots of shopping and gambling, a heated pool, cheep food downstairs and a Starbucks on the ground floor. Plus they have tons of extra amenities. Overall it was one of the nicer hotels we stayed at on this trip.
About the Elara: Located on the Las Vegas Strip, the Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations is connected to the Miracle Mile Shops. It features a health club and a tropical outdoor pool.
Guest rooms at Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations feature floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms. A kitchen or a kitchenette with a microwave and a mini-fridge and a 42-inch flat-screen TV with extended cable channels are offered in all guest rooms.

Gambling isn’t your only choice for entertainment. There are restaurants, museums, and more. There’s enough to create a fulfilling and romantic day, and it’s all accessible to those with disabilities.
You can also have an enjoyable experience without going for the most expensive options. Come during the week and avoid expensive festivals to save a great deal of money.
