A Leopard attacking a provocative photographer in the Maasai Mara National Reserve

A leopard attacking a provocative photographer in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. This photographer, who either chose to ignore the park rules or just was not briefed correctly, risked his life as a leopard tried to grab his foot.

As you can clearly tell, this vicious leopard was not very impressed and would have harmed the photographer. Even through leopard attacking people is rare, this is not to mean that you should play around with an leopard while on a safari. In fact, the best thing a guide should do when any wildlife gets so close to a tourist vehicle is to move away.

The management of Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya has already banned the camp and the guides who allowed this photographer to get involved in the would-be unfortunate encounter with a leopard.

Most Visiting Site in Gabon || Top Five || Mew Play

Tourism in Gabon is underdeveloped.Despite this, attractions include beaches, ocean and inland fishing facilities, the falls on the Ogooué River, and the Crystal Mountains.Tourists also come to see the famous hospital founded by Dr. Albert Schweitzer in Lambaréné. Hunting is legal in specific areas from December to September.
#Point_Denis
Point Denis is well known mainly because tourism hasn’t flourished there yet. Though it’s a rapid boat ride from Libreville, it looks like otherworldly. The beach stretches over several kilometers and ends where the Pongara National Park starts. The calm town has wonderful restaurants, tiny boutique hotels, and great water sports opportunities.
#Port_Gentil
Situated on Mandji Island, it isn’t joined to the mainland by road. Port-Gentil is not only eminent for its industrial sector but also famous for the nightlife and casinos. During the day time, be sure to visit the local zoo and St. Louis Church built in the 20th century.
#Akanda National Park
Internationally famed as the nesting ground for one of the biggest populations of guest birds, Akanda National Park is the home of 25% of preserved mangrove in total Africa. The Bantu clan believes that the Mondah forest, within the park, is a holy place where many of their myths and fables were formed.
#Lopé Reserve
Réserve de la Lopé is precisely located on the equatorial. It contains savannah, rolling hills, and rainforest where you will probably locate buffalo, elephants, gorillas, and mandrills. This national park was actually a reserved area established in the 1940s after the Okanda Wildlife Reserve was created. It’s now a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.
#Makoku and Kongou Falls
Makokou is the capital city of the Ogooué-Ivindo area and the entrance to Kongou waterfalls – Gabon’s own type of Niagara Falls. Situated inside Ivindo National Park, Kongou is certainly a must see with a 60-meter fall and huge theological significance to the locals. The village of Makokou is a bit separated but it can be accessed by air, rail, and river.

Black mamba vs Dwarf mongoose

This is a sighting for the books! A black mamba vs a dwarf mongoose - what a breathtaking occasion for us as we sat and watched the cheeky mongoose toying with the most deadly snake in South Africa. Mongooses are known to eat snakes, but this seemed like rather a challenge for the smallest mongoose working on its own to approach the mamba. Incredible moment in the wild Timbavati Nature Reserve. And for those who are dying to know the result - both walked away unscathed at the end of the day. It was a draw!

Tracking Western Lowland Gorillas in Gabon

An incredible day spent tracking Western Lowland Gorillas in Gabon's Loango NP with my 71 year old father. He was the second oldest person to see this group and showed an amazing amount of determination to walk over three hours to the gorillas and back through equatorial jungle, the second half of which was in pouring rain...

Beautiful places to travel to game :
Loango National Park is a coastline park in Gabon, lush vegetation Loango National Park is a coastline park that encompasses some 1,550 square kilometres of land and is famous for its variety of unspoiled landscapes. Africa’s Last Eden – that is how the ecologist and conservationist Mike Fay referred to Loango National Park in 1997 when he walked 3000 km along the forest corridor between Congo and Gabon to shine a global spotlight on Africa’s most pristine rainforests and the need to protect them.
History[edit]
Loango National Park is one of the 13 national parks created in 2001 by Gabon’s President Omar Bongo Ondimba.
Landscape[edit]
The habitat types in Loango National Park vary from marine, seashore, coastal lagoons, mangroves, salt marsh, coastal forest, swamp forest, rain forest, savannah, rivers until papyrus swamp
Flora and fauna[edit]
Gabon is home to western lowland gorillas and nearly 200 other mammal species and 600 species of birds. In Loango National Park, you have a chance to see amongst others: the smaller forest elephant, red forest buffalo, red river hogs with furry ears, the slender snouted crocodiles, sitatunga, duikers, a variety of monkeys, a huge array of birds, whales (in season), hippos, western lowland gorillas and chimpanzees.
Climate[edit]
Temperatures vary from 28 to 31 °C. The rains fall between October and April, with a short dry season in December and January.
Get in[edit]
You can arrive from Omboué Evengué Island by boat up the Mpivié River or fly directly to Iguela, close to Loango National Park. Africa’s Connection (sister company of Africa’s Eden) provides scheduled and charter flights between Iguela and the major capitals in the region such as Libreville / Port Gentil (Gabon).
