Alaska Glacier Adventure: Helicopter Flight with a Landing & Wild Blueberries on Matanuska Glacier
While in Alaska, we got the chance to ride on a helicopter and land on the Matanuska Glacier. It was a bucket list experience for both my dad and I and something I will never forget. Here is the full adventure featuring our landing on the 27 mile glacier and trying some fresh blueberries on the side of the hill.

While on our cruise in Alaska, the highlight was taking a helicopter flight with North Star Helicopters in Juneau. Not only did we get to go on a 30 minute scenic flight around the ice field and mountains, but land on the Mendenhall glacier for a 2 hour trek. Worth every penny!

So I got the chance to check out Alaska, while we were there we took a helicopter to the top of an Icy Glacier, landed it and got out and explored where most people haven't been. Was pretty amazing.
Definitely recommend it to anyone who adventures to Alaska.

My First Helicopter Flight...and on an Alaska Glacier!
What better way to fly aboard a helicopter for the first time than in Alaska landing on a freaking glacier! While on an Alaskan cruise with my family aboard the Carnival Spirit, we stopped in Juneau for a bit and decided to do a helicopter excursion. Boy did it not disappoint for any of us. This video probably won't do justice for how spectacular it really was, but can't say I didn't try. Hope you enjoy this special vid with my family!

During our trip to Alaska we took a helicopter ride from the Denali Park area to a glacier. We landed on the glacier and walked around. This video is while we were on the glacier. I tried to turn 360 degrees so you could see the whole area around us. It was very quiet. Our pilot is talking in the video.
