So here we went to Ananthagiri Hills, So basically Ananthagiri Hills is located in Vikarabad district, Telangana, India. The water flows from these hills to Osman Sagar also known as Gandipet lake and Himayathsagar.
Moreover, It is one of the dense forests in Telangana. Ananthagiri Temple is located in this forested area(Hanuman statue & garuna statue).
We really had a great experience there the view is very pretty from the watch tower and amazing you can do a photo shoot there with some green and forest views but you should have to carry your own food and water because you can't find good food there. You can take the bus to visit the forest area from the station.
It is 80km from Hyderabad, A good place to enjoy Nature and Trekking, 1day Trip, Photoshoots, a 1day Weeknd Ride,
Car Parking and Bike Parking place Available with Security (police officer) with charge of ₹20 per person and for parking ₹30 for 4 wheelers.
Nice place to visit with family and friends. It has a tracking route. However, it lacks some good restaurants and tea points. Carry your own refreshments. Nothing very special but quiet and serene place to relax and enjoy the greenery. I would avoid it after heavy rain as it could be really slippery.
Well, it could be a one-time visit place, you must visit with your friends & family.

#2 - So, we went to Kotepally reservoir near Vikarabad district from Hyderabad for kayaking. The total ride was about 89kms and took us 2 and half hours for us to reach there and was a complete fun ride. The complete ride is very enjoyable with all the pleasant scenery alongside.
PS: If you too are planning to go on a bike trip, please be prepared for some really bad bumps on the roads, as some of them are not very well maintained.

ANANTHAGIRI HILLS / DENSE FOREST RANGES IS LOCATED 75 KMS AWAY FROM HYDERABAD MONSOON IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT THIS PLACE AS THERE WOULD BE LUSH GREENARY AROUND. MANY VIEW POINTS ARE THERE , INCLUDING ONE WATCH TOWER. A SMALL STEEP HIKE FROM THE WEST END TAKES YOU TO WATCH TOWER AREA.
WEEKENDS CAN BE CROWDED.
PLAN TO START EARLY AS TO COMPLETE THE HIKE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS. THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLACES HERE TO PITCH TENT AND FOR CAMPING.
