Today, we started near Portland, Maine and headed south down the coast. Here are the amazing lobsters rolls we tried:

Bite into Maine ( - Price - about $28 per roll - We began at the beautiful Cape Elizabeth, an amazing coastal park and lighthouse. Conveniently, there’s a food truck called Bite into Maine that serves one of the best lobster rolls in Maine. It’s less traditional, but it’s so good. They have a Maine lobster roll, Connecticut roll, and a few non-traditional versions. Their lobster is fresh and chunky, and delicious.

The Lobster Shack at Two Lights ( - Next we headed to another spectacular location along the Maine coast called Two Lights. This is one of the most famous lobsters shacks in Maine. Although the scenery is beautiful, unfortunately the lobster rolls was not great. Comparing it to other lobster rolls we had in Maine, their lobster didn’t taste fresh or sweet, and I didn’t care for giant blob of mayo on top. But it was cool to put our feet in the water to eat!

The Clam Shack ( Price - $25 per roll - Located in Kennebunk, Maine, The Clam Shack has won many awards for their seafood and lobster rolls, and it’s not hard to see why - it’s one of the best. They serve a hamburger bun shaped roll, with some of the best textured lobster you’ll find. Their fried clams are also exceptional. One of the best seafood shacks in Maine!

Footbridge Lobster ( - Price - $24.95 - Finally to end this lobster roll tour, we drove to Ogunquit, known as the lobster capital of Maine. We weren’t really planning to eat a lobster roll here, but we had to once we saw how cool this place was. This was the surprise lobster roll of the trip. Really outstanding, fresh, and one of the best rolls of all the lobster rolls in New England.

It was another wonderful day of lobsters and fun in Maine!

MAINE, USA - Welcome to the coast of Maine in New England, USA, one of the world’s best lobster destinations. This is the first part of the ultimate lobster and lobster roll tour of Maine! In this first video of lobster roll eating in Maine, we went to 4 different places along the coast, a few amazing lobster shacks, and a few lobster pounds - which is the term used for waterfront shacks that have live lobsters.

Five Islands Lobster Co - $19.95 per normal roll (we got the Big Boy for $44 per lobster roll) ( - Welcome to Five Islands Lobster Co, located in a spectacular location overlooking five islands. You can get their lobster rolls and their boiled lobsters, both are excellent choices. You are guaranteed extremely fresh lobsters from local fishermen.

Day's Crabmeat & Lobster - $57.61 for all lobsters ( - Next, we go to Day's Crabmeat & Lobster, which is a lobster pound on the highway that has live lobsters. We got there a little too early, so they weren’t yet making lobster rolls, but we made our own. Again, you’re guaranteed fresh lobsters here.

Red's Eats - $32.75 per roll ( - Red's Eats is probably the most famous lobster roll shack in the world, an iconic white and red shack on the corner of the road. Their lobster rolls are known for being huge and overstuffed, which is no joke. Their lobster rolls are legendary and great, but to me they didn’t taste as fresh as the other places. It was huge and fun to eat, but not the best.

McLoons Lobster Shack - $22.95 per roll ( - Finally we drove out to McLoons Lobster Shack. First of all, located on an island, it’s one of the most beautiful locations for any lobster shack in Maine. The lobsters are kept in the seawater so again they are guaranteed to be fresh. But the real difference here is that the lobsters are steamed instead of boiled for your lobster roll. Jeffrey and I both agreed, best lobster rolls we’d ever had.

An amazing day eating Maine lobster, and many more lobsters and lobster rolls to come!

Giant LOBSTER ROLLS!! ???? Fresh Lobster + Warm Butter | Best Food Shacks in Connecticut, USA!

???? Maine Lobster Roll Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

CONNECTICUT, USA - Welcome to Connecticut, a state that’s famous for fresh Atlantic lobsters and lobster rolls during the summer. Today, we’re going to two main places, each famous for lobster rolls and some of the best lobster rolls in the USA!

Friends in the video:
???? Follow Jessica:
???? Follow Jeffrey: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey!

So quickly to begin, there are two main states in the USA famous for lobster rolls, Maine and Connecticut. Maine is the more well known and often uses mayonnaise on their lobster rolls. Connecticut is more known for less mayonnaise and instead using warm butter in their rolls.

Here are the two main places we went during this lobster rolls tour:

Abbott's Lobster In the Rough (
Price - $28.95 medium sized roll - Abbott's Lobster In the Rough is one of the most well known places to eat lobsters in all of Connecticut. When we saw the giant lobster roll on the menu, it’s something we had to try. It was huge, stuffed full of lobster like a boat. I liked how the roll was served with pure lobster and warm butter was served on the side. The location and setting was spectacular. A highlight was also their steamed lobsters and potato chips.

Lobster Landing (
Price - $19.75 per roll - Next up we drove over to Lobster Landing, what has to be one of the ultimate lobster shacks in the United States, a lobster dock literally on the side of the ocean - straight boat to lobster roll. After seeing some of the fresh lobsters we met up with Bacci, the owner who is originally from Italy. What makes them special is their integrity and how they buy lobsters from the local fishing community in the area in a sustainable way. They don’t cut corners, but focus on extremely fresh seafood sustainable sourced. For their lobster rolls they boil the lobster, then directly into a grilled bun, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and a ladle of melted warm butter. This was without a doubt one of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had in my life - so pure, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Lobster Landing only has a few things on their menu, but they truly do it right. Highly recommended.

Another delicious day of eating lobsters on the East Coast of the USA in Connecticut!

New England HUGE CLAMBAKE!! 298 Lobsters, Clams, Corn on Cabbage Island!!

???? Ultimate Lobster Roll Tour of Maine:
???? NEW T-shirts and caps available now:
???? Cabbage Island Clambakes:

MAINE, USA: One of the experiences I was most looking forward to in Maine, was a New England clambake. It’s a method of cooking where a variety of seafood, plus potatoes and corn, are steamed and baked, sometimes underground, topped with local seaweed, over fire. When I was Cabbage Island Clambakes, I knew it was going to be epic!

Friends in the video:
???? Follow Jeffrey: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey!
???? Follow Jessica:

The journey begins from Booth Bay, a beautiful coastal town in Maine. We set off for Cabbage Island, with about an hour boat ride and tour of the harbor. When we arrived to Cabbage Island, I was excited and ready to see the clambake and eat. One of the great things about this clambake is that it attracts so many people, and therefore they cook such a huge quantity of food at one time - making it it even more of a delicious and visual experience.

They had two full trays of lobster, 298 lobsters for lunch! Plus an entire tray of corn, potatoes, onions, and eggs. There’s a very interesting story where they used to use the eggs as a timer, when the egg would cook and crack, then the clambake and all the seafood would be ready. I’m happy that even though they don’t need the egg timer anymore, they have maintained the tradition.

The clambake was incredible, I loved how all the ingredients steamed, baked, and roasted all at the same time. The lobster was probably the best I had in all of Maine. It was perfectly cooked, and some of the sweetest and juiciest lobster I’ve had. That clambake technique is without a doubt one of the best ways to preserve the taste of the fresh Maine lobsters. The clams - or I think in this case they were steamers, were also delicious. The sweet corn was among the best I’ve ever had, and the potato and eggs were great as well.

Finally to finish you meal at Cabbage Island Clambake, you get their famous blueberry cake, which is famous for a reason - one of the best of the best blueberry cakes ever.

And that completes the Cabbage Island Clambake experience. Highly recommended when you’re in Maine, and I think it’s one of the greatest USA, American food experiences you can have.

Price - It was $72.50 per person

$284 Fisherman’s Platter!! KING OF FRIED SEAFOOD in New England!!

???? Ultimate Lobster Roll Tour of Maine:
???? NEW T-shirts and caps available now:

ESSEX, MASSACHUSETTS: Welcome to Essex, Massachusetts, home to Woodman’s, where they invented the New England style deep fried clam! During our trip to New England we were not going to miss this opportunity to eat the king of deep fried seafood, and we got a gigantic $284.75 Fisherman’s Platter!

Friends in the video:
???? Follow Jeffrey Merrihue: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey!

Woodman's of Essex ( Total price - $284.75 - We arrived to Woodman's of Essex, ready to devour some deep fried seafood. As the true story goes, back in 1916 Lawrence Chubby Woodman and his wife Bessie had a cart and sold fresh clams and deep fried potato chips. One day one of his fisherman friends told him to deep fry some clams in the potato chip oil. It was almost a joke - they said it was something humorous, but after trying it, they realized they might be onto something. They invented and popularized the fried clam. To this day, the original fried clam is available at Woodman's of Essex and it’s as good as it’s ever been.

At Woodman’s they also have a host of other deep fried seafood, including clam strips, scallops, shrimp, and fish, plus onion rings and fries. We decided to order a huge fisherman’s platter, including a mix of everything piled high onto Jeffrey’s lobster tray.

While all the seafood at Woodman's of Essex is delicious and remarkably deep fried and crispy, still nothing beats the deep fried clams - the original deep fried clams.

Kelly's Roast Beef ( Price - $14.02 meal combo - next up on this mini tour, just down the Massachusetts coast I stopped at Kelly's Roast Beef, legendary for their roast beef sandwich. It was every bit as good as I was hoping it to be and everything it needed to be. Don’t miss it when you visit Massachusetts!

Review of Mike's Clam Shack:

Wally seeks the best Lobster Roll in Maine! Is it Red's Eats or McLoon's :-) Aug 2021

Wally’s travels for a week through Maine to realized a dream of having mouthfuls of sweet lobster!
He was inspired by a YouTuber who went though Maine a few month’s ago! I go to 4 of his suggested destinations.

1. Local suggestion was I loved the fried scallops here. The Whole lobster was a good deal as it came with clams.
2. Day's Crabmeat & Lobster This was a good deal on live lobsters. I would get the 2 and 3 whole lobster deal next time
3. McLoons Lobster Shack The 8 ounce Lobster rolls Royce was amazing with large chunks of claw, knuckle and tail. The steamed lobster was amazing. I came here twice. It’s the one I would fly into Maine to eat again. The view was amazing. Come here first! It is a very far drive but worth it!!
4. Red's Eats This place is iconic for Maine. It’s said it has the #1 lobster roll. It was very fresh with claw, knuckle and Tail meat. This roll was amazing. I’d have it second on my list after McLoons. I would pass on the other stuff there. They don’t have a lobster pound so no live lobsters.
5. Five Islands Lobster Co I bought the $44 dollar big boy but the lobster meat didn’t see a fresh as McLoons or Reds. I didn’t get a live lobster here but I’m sure the would be amazing. All the live lobsters were at the differnet shacks.
6. Trenton Bridge Lobster Company I ordered both a live lobster and a roll. The roll was ok but the live lobster boiled in a wood fire boiler was amazing. It burned my hand with head as I was cracking the shell. It was crazy busy as I was leaving Acadia National park in the evening but it was not busy at 9 am when I went in.
7. Bite into Maine We went to the food truck in Fort William’s, There is a beautiful view and a lighthouse there. The rolls were Maine style with may or butter only (Connecticut style) using a teapot of melted butter or non traditional styles. We took Connecticut style and it was delicious!

NOTE: Hope you are having a great day! This video was filmed back in January 2020, that's why we are not wearing face masks and sharing food. But please now take extras safety measures by wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing your hands frequently. Be careful, and stay safe. Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected in Miami right now.

MIAMI, FLORIDA - Welcome to Miami! In this ultimate Miami food tour we’ll eat at some of the legendary restaurants in Miami including the Cuban sandwich, Cuban burger, and colossal sized Florida stone crab claws! #Miami #Florida #MiamiFood

I met up with my friend David Hoffman, I’ve known him for years, but this is the first time to meet him in his hometown of Miami. He actually picked us up from the airport and we immediately got started eating.

Here are the places we ate in this Miami food tour:

Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine - Nowhere is more legendary for food in Miami than Versailles Restaurant, specializing in Cuban food, and known for their Cuban coffee and Cuban sandwich. We first started at the coffee bar, for some Cuban coffee and pastries - loved the ham croquetas and the guava and cheese empanada. Then we had the honor to watch a classic 1 meter Cuban sandwich being made and then eating it. It was everything it needed to be, a sandwich of history.

El Rey De Las Fritas - Next we headed to El Rey De Las Fritas for the Cuban burger, an impressively French fry filled burger loaded with seasonings and sauces. David, Joel, and I, all shared the Frita Suprema, Frita Original, and the Frita a Caballo. Oh man it was good, dripping with greasy flavor. El Rey De Las Fritas is truly a must eat gem of Miami.

And that completes Part 1 of this Ultimate Miami Food Tour. Stay tuned and keep watching Part 2.

We pick up this Ultimate Miami Food Tour in Little Havana.

Azucar Ice Cream Company - After the giant Cuban sandwich and Cuban burger, we headed to Azucar Ice Cream Company, serving Cuban inspired ice cream with a variety of unique and delicious flavors. Great place, great staff, and fun place to eat ice cream.

Budare Bistro - Venezuelan Restaurant - Next, David took me to eat at one of his favorite Venezuelan restaurants in Miami, and it was extraordinary. We ordered the Cachapa, Tequenos, and the Arepa Budare. Food was fantastic! Prices - $5 - $10 per dish

Garcia's Seafood Grille - Finally, to wrap up this ultimate Miami food tour, we went to Garcia's Seafood Grille, which is both a restaurant and seafood market, and it was probably the highlight of this entire food tour with David. Garcia’s is a family run seafood business and they serve without a doubt some of the best and freshest local seafood in all of Miami. They have a host of different seafoods, but their real highlight are their Florida stone crab claws and their Florida spiny lobster. They were cooked perfectly, nothing covering the freshness of the natural flavor. It was my first time to try Florida stone crabs, a delicacy in Florida, and a crab worth traveling for just to eat - a pillar of the Florida culinary world. Thank you to Garcia's Seafood Grille for the amazing meal!

And that completes this ultimate Miami Food Tour! Miami is diverse, people are cool, and you’ll find a huge variety of delicious food.

Thanks again to David Hoffman ( for taking us around his hometown of Miami.

MORE LOBSTER??? So Much Delicious Seafood in Portland, Maine!! (RV East Coast Road Trip)

We are absolutely loving Maine!! Portland was not originally part of the plan but we decided that we had to visit! First stop in the morning is the Portland Head Light... we call it a lighthouse, but I guess the technical name is head light... who knew! It is a beautiful spot and we enjoyed walking around the park, being brave and climbing down on the rock cliff and walking out on the rock beach. It is so different than anywhere we have been before... and we love it!

Next up, we head down to the old town and the harbour for... you guessed it... more lobster! We find the coolest fresh seafood shop too. Here you can buy whole or fillet fish, oysters, and of course, lobster... all caught fresh right offshore. We were soooo tempted to buy some but decided to hold off and come back later. But we are hungry so it is time for lunch!

We chose the Porthole Restaurant that has been on the harbour for almost 100 years. And the most amazing thing happened... we see boats pulling up to the restaurant and bringing freshly caught lobster inside. It does not get any fresher than that! Needless to say, it was an amazing lunch...

5 Mega SANDWICHES in One Day!! ???????? Best NEW ORLEANS PO'BOYS You Have To Try!!

???? America’s Best Fried Chicken:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

NEW ORLEANS - One of the the best New Orleans foods to eat for a quick meal is a po’ boy, one of the signature style sandwiches in New Orleans Louisiana. Before going to New Orleans, I thought a po’ boy (or poor boy, po’boy) was a fried shrimp sandwich New Orleans, but I learned it’s not only shrimp, but you could have deli meats, roast beef, oyster, grilled shrimp, or even cheese and turkey. There are many types of po’ boys and in this ultimate Po’ Boy tour we’ll be eating at five places and trying five different types of po’ boys.

Thanks to Derek Robinson, my brother in law for featuring in this video. He roasts amazing coffee:

Here are the po' boys:

1. Guy's Po-Boys ( Price - around $13 per po-boy - We started off at Guy's Po-Boys and I think it’s one of the best places in all of New Orleans for po’boys. We tried both the grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and the fried catfish. They were all three spectacular, though I think the best was the grilled shrimp.

2. Domilise's Po-Boy & Bar ( - Shrimp po’ boy - $15 - One of the oldest and most historical places to eat at sandwich in New Orleans in Domilise's Po-Boy & Bar. I tried the fried shrimp and the roast beef, both of which were delicious. So much character at this neighborhood favorite.

3. R & O Restaurant and Catering ( - Roast beef po’ boy - $10.30 - Next up on this po’boy tour in New Orleans, we went to R & O Restaurant and Catering specifically for their famous roast beef poor boy. It was huge and loaded with roast beef, and totally unique sandwich eating experience.

4. Liuzza's by the Track ( - BBQ shrimp po’ boy - $15.95 - Next we tried Liuzza's by the Track for their New Orleans grilled shrimp po’boy. I wasn’t sure exactly how to eat it, but it was tasty and that was an extremely addictive sauce.

5. Parkway Bakery & Tavern ( - Oyster po’ boy - $18.49 - Finally to complete this New Orleans food tour, we tried the oyster po’boy from Parkway Bakery & Tavern, which is one of the most famous restaurants in New Orleans. The oysters were tasty, especially with a lot of Louisiana hot sauce.

And that completes this iconic tour of the best Po’ boys in New Orleans!

America's Oldest Restaurant!! ???? OYSTER BAR + CLAM CHOWDER!! | Union Oyster House, Boston!

???? Ultimate Philadelphia Food Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!
???? Union Oyster House (

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS - Welcome to Boston and one of the restaurants I was most looking forward to eating at was the Union Oyster House - the oldest continually running restaurant in the United States! They are known for their oyster bar and New England style seafood. In this video we’re getting a first hand look at Union Oyster House, the back end kitchen, and the legendary oyster bar!

First of all, I love the old building that actually dates back to way before Union Oyster House opened. There are so many stories that have come out of the amazing building. Union Oyster House opened in 1826, and when you arrive it’s a total step back in time, a living museum that’s a restaurant.

As you enter Union Oyster House, probably my favorite part of the entire restaurant is the oyster bar, which is the original oyster bar. It wasn’t a seating oyster bar, but rather a leaning oyster bar. And it happened to be a favorite of Daniel Webster who would lean at the bar and eat no fewer than 6 dozen oysters. The oysters were phenomenal, so fresh and local, and with a squeeze of lemon and a swipe of horseradish and cocktail sauce. It was some of the best cocktail sauce I’ve ever had.

After taking a full tour of the restaurant we then sat down for a full meal including clam chowder, more oysters, broiled haddock, shrimp with a tomato pesto sauce, and one of my favorite dishes, mussels in white wine, garlic and garlic. The food was fresh and local and prepared in classic New England style. The clam chowder is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Union Oyster House is an iconic restaurant, it has unparalleled history in the United States, and food is quite delicious - especially the oysters and the clam chowder! When you’re in Boston, for both food and history lovers, it’s a must.

Today we’re going on an Italian food tour of Boston, we’ll be checking out the North End and East Boston around the airport. Get ready for a huge chicken parm sub, pizza, and one of the USA’s greatest Italian meals!

Dino's Cafe ( - We started this tour in Boston’s north end, one of the great Italian American neighborhoods in the United States. It’s a great place to walk around, and enjoy the narrow streets and delicious food. We ate at a place called Dino’s Cafe, a wonderful spot offering home style Italian food and especially a variety of Italian style sandwiches. I specifically came to eat the massive fried chicken parmesan sub including fresh breaded deep fried cutlets, cheese, and marinara sauce. It was made fresh, and one of the best versions I’ve ever had - and on top of that, it’s huge! Price - $14

Rino's Place ( - Next up on this Italian food tour of Boston, we headed to Rino's Place, without a doubt one of the great Italian restaurants in the United States. It’s been praised by Guy Fieri, and I can tell you that it’s one of those places where no matter what you order off the menu, it’s going to be outstanding. Along with amazing food, the owner and all staff are fantastic. I ordered the signature lobster ravioli, plus a plate of amazing spaghetti (I can say it’s one of the best plates of spaghetti I’ve had in my life) and finally a plate of veal marsala with pasta. Again, all three dishes were top of the notch, absolutely amazing.
Total price - $99.51

Santarpio's Pizza ( - Finally to end this Italian food tour in Boston, I met up with my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( to eat a few pizzas at the legendary Santarpio's Pizza, which is one of the best pizzas in Boston. Along with pizza, they are known for their kebabs, which they grill over fire at the front of the restaurant - is there anything better than kebabs before pizza? We ordered the sausage and garlic pizza, and it was delicious.

Boston is a fantastic city, and I loved eating all of this incredible Italian food when I was there.

Lobster Cove in Maine March 2018

Amazing clam chowder and lobster in Maine. March 11, 2018

-Dr. Ming Woo

LOBSTAH Rolls #Maine #lobsterroll

As the story goes, the owner of Perry's, Harry, had a salesman who wanted a hot lobster dinner to go so that he could eat while driving. So, Harry put the lobster meat on sliced white bread, and the lobster roll was born.

While some historians believe there is no one to be accredited with “inventing” the roll, most people believe that it originated at Perry's a restaurant in Mildford, Connecticut. The sandwich beuted on the menu in 1927, when owner Harry Perry whipped one up for a customer, and the recipe stuck.
