Life in Russian Countryside (Visiting a Dacha in Siberia)

Why are so many people in Russia, especially young people, leaving the cities to move to the massive Russian countryside? What on earth are 'Russian country homes' or 'Dacha's'? And why do over 60% of the population of modern Russia own one? Let's head to the countryside, deep in to the taiga (boreal forest) of Siberia, to my brother's (cousins) wooden Dacha. Let's have a BBQ with my family, and check out rural life in Russia and a Russian cottage.

#15 Going to MONGOLIA from RUSSIA - Border Crossing Experience | #silkroadtrip

After riding 5000kms through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan & Russia - it was time to enter my final country - Mongolia.
I started from Kosh-agach, a small town just 50 kms from the border, where I was stuck due to some motorcycle issues. After getting it fixed I reached the border town - Tashanta. The border crossing on Russia side almost took 2.5 hours, followed by 45 minutes riding through 26kms of No Man's land and it took another one hour to cross the Mongolia side.
The video also contains my first impressions of Mongolia as I stroll down the streets of Olgii, the largest town in West Mongolia with a population of 30,000 only.

Having stayed in multiple different villages on my previous travels, I was inspired to do the same in Belarus. I reached out to several Belarusians and got the wonderful opportunity to visit Krupitsa village after meeting Ira through Couchsurfing. Ira was so excited to invite me to come and stay with her parents and her son. I was excited to see life in the countryside and got lucky to be present during Ira’s father's birthday.

ABOUT ME:
Hello there, welcome to this channel!
I am an Indonesian female solo traveller, who started solo travelling in 2013. After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue full-time travelling and to document myself as I explore different cultures as a solo female.

Having initially travelled for 5 months throughout Asia, I moved to China in January 2017 for an English teaching job, which was my first experience living abroad.

Since leaving China in 2018, I have taken the move to become a full-time YouTube creator and traveller. I strive to create unique, culture-driven content and capture authentic interactions as I travel.

Our magic LUTs and presets for color grading:

In mid-January, Peter finally fell asleep with snow, and we were able to show the most beautiful Northern city in the world, wrapped in snow, from the air, in ultra-high resolution 6K. For filming, we used a new Ambassador camera Zenmuse X7 together with a new line of lenses DL, which a month ago we sent DJI for our further creativity. Since youtube does not support 6K resolution, we have increased the image to 8K, in order to unlock the full potential of the image.

Exploring Vorkuta - Russian Ghost Town in Arctic | The Most Depressing Town in Russia

Despite the richest coal deposits that gave boost to the development of the city, Vorkuta and the adjacent settlements are rapidly emptying today. The mega project of the Soviet machine was not in demand among the heirs of the empire. Today, some districts of Vorkuta and surrounding villages are abandoned or are about to be completely deserted. How is Vorkuta living today? What's going on around her? What are the prospects for the main coal mining region in the north of Russia? I personally went to the Arctic to answer these questions.

Traveling to Far East RUSSIA (on a Korean Cargo Ship)

Travelling to Vladivostok in far east Russia from Korea not how you would expect. With flights currently unavailable, we found one route was still open between Korea, Japan and Russia. So we decided to book it and travel to Vladivostok, Russia on one of the worlds least travelled passenger/cargo ferry routes.
Travelling by cargo ship across the Sea of Japan (or East Sea), between two completely separate worlds has been a dream of ours for as long as we can remember!
With Korea reopening her maritime border to allow the resumption of the Du Won Shipping route to the Russian Federation, we headed to port of Donghae, in South Korea to try and see if we could hitch a ride on one of the ships that travel across the sea past North Korea, and onwards to Russia.
It was an incredible experience and one we are so glad we can bring you on. On that note, lets head to Russia.
Could you travel on a ship like this? ????

ABOUT ME:

Hi! My name is Elena. I’m currently living in Russia but I can’t imagine my life without travel. I visit off the beaten track destinations (in Russia and beyond) to explore different cultures and ways of living, connect to the wisdom of nature, and learn about myself. Let’s go on this adventure together ♥

Russians Brainwashed By Kremlin Propaganda and in Fear of Prison

I receive many comments on a daily basis that Russian people cannot answer questions on the street because they will be sent to jail. I'm told that it's obvious that they avoid telling the truth!
