The myriad of waterways are home to otters, eagles, and endless beauty. If you don't feel like going by boat, the National Lakeshore offers sweeping vistas, amazing hiking, and places to camp. Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are something to behold. This is our first time to the Upper Peninsula so we are very excited to share this with you. We are staying in Pictured Rocks RV Park in Munising, MI for 10 days, which is 10 minutes from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and big rig friendly. Join us as we make the trek up north and explore the wilderness in our Grand Design RV.

The Upper Peninsula | Top Places to Check Out on Your Road Trip to the UP
Here are the top places my friends & I checked out during our road trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was a four-day trip We stopped at Higgins Lake to do some kiteboarding and stayed one night in Mackinaw City. On the way to our Airbnb, we stopped at Kitch-iti-kipi, Michigan largest natural spring. Cliff jumping was the main reason we went up there. We cliff dived at Cayon Falls, Black Rocks, and the Kingsford Bridge in Iron Mountain. We did some Small Mouth and Pike fishing in the mornings.
