Why we left St. Thomas after 3 years - Virgin Islands living
We decided it was time to leave the US Virgin Islands. We lived in St. Thomas for 3 years but now we are moving back to Florida. We had a great time living in the USVI but we decided that island living was not for us. In this video we will tell how we came to our decision to leave St. Thomas. We had a great time there but when we looked at the pros vs the cons, we started to notice that the cons were outnumbering the pros. So here is our thought process on why we left St. Thomas.

St. John is the smallest of the 3 U.S. Virgin Islands, which are located in the Caribbean Sea. Virgin Islands National Park occupies more than half the island. Its forests shelter resident and migratory birds, including cuckoos, warblers and hummingbirds. The mangroves at Hurricane Hole, in the east, support corals and anemones. Dolphins inhabit the island’s waters, which also host hawksbill and green turtles.

Truth about living in St Thomas
If you are thinking about moving to St. Thomas or living in the US Virgin Islands or even Puerto Rico or any other Caribbean Island, then you need to watch this video. I've been in the Caribbean for a year and a half and I'm going to share what it's really like. I will tell what I've learned from being in St. Thomas and tell you the truth about living here. Not everything is like the chamber of commerce brochure you see online. Living on an island is tough and I will tell you what is really like to live in St. Thomas. The cost of living here is something to consider before moving to the Virgin Islands. There are cheaper islands you can move to. But, this island is very beautiful and the fact that it is a US territory make it very easy to move here. It could be a great place to start your Caribbean journey and see if you are really Island Life material.
