In this video, I explain CROATIA COST OF LIVING PRICES in 2023 for the CROATIAN SEASIDE (including Summer vs. Off-Tourism Season Prices) for those interested in LIVING IN CROATIA as a foreigner. So mainly any potential Croatia expat, remote worker, digital nomad or anyone else looking to try out moving to the Croatia Adriatic coast for a season!
Most of this video is based on my experiences living in different parts of the DALMATIA REGION at different times of the year (mainly ZADAR, DUBROVNIK & MAKARSKA).

In today's video we visit two Expats that have chose to call Croatia home. The city of Split is a must visit for cruise lines in the Mediterranean, as well as Game of Thrones fans. The city is full of history and Diocletian's Palace is beyond verbal description. Today we visit Ron and Aaron in the nearby city of Trogir. One of our spokes to our wheel for savings, and now an income stream
is Fundrise. Basically we are invested in many apartment complexes around the country.
We get a portion of the rents in the form of dividends, and growth in value with the appreciation
of the properties. We currently have selected an income REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust)
which historically pays between 7.5% - 9% annually in dividends. You can chose a balanced REIT which has a split between appreciation and dividends or a REIT where it's focused on appreciation and not dividends.

Hey y’all, we’re Alyssa & Noah, we’re Canadians who travel vlog & blog while we backpack around the world. We have a passion for travel, so much so that we have transitioned to a long-term travel lifestyle, but we’re broke post-grads so everything we do is on a budget!
Our travel journey started in 2018 when we took our first trip together. Immediately, we both caught the travel bug and we started planning our next trip on the flight home. From 2018-2020 we did the normal thing that university students / people with full-time jobs do, we took our 2-3 week vacations each year and we had the best times of our lives backpacking. Eventually, the short trips just weren’t enough for us and we really craved more of an immersive experience, to really live in different countries and fully experience the cultures. We both expressed this interest to travel more and we were so relieved that we felt the same. Ever since, travel has become an integral part of who we are individually and has come to play an important role in our relationship. Once we had both finished our university degrees, we decided it was finally time and we transitioned to a long-term travel lifestyle. As of September 2020, we have been backpacking through Europe, experiencing other cultures, staying in hostels & AirBnBs, and traveling on a budget.
This last year has been really difficult due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. When we first left Canada in 2020, we were told that everything would be okay and there were no problems with traveling to Italy. Of course, everything got a lot worse than any of us could ever imagine or expect. Unfortunately, we quit our jobs, gave up our apartment, and all of our belongings are in our parents’ house. So, it’s not an option for us to go back home to Canada, so we are in Europe trying to make the best of a bad situation. Since 2013, my husband, Shawn, and I have been spending up to three months at a time in Croatia. For several winters, we based ourselves in Croatia’s second-largest city of Split and in the nearby town of Trogir—a UNESCO World Heritage site. We also lived in the coastal city of Pula and had the opportunity to spend a few weeks among the vineyards in the country try’s interior. Along the way, we visited many of Croatia’s islands, national parks, and towns.
