Welcome to the lake I grew up on, seen like never before! This is Lake Weslemkoon, a beautiful cottage spot in the country just 3 hours outside Toronto, Ontario. Canada is well known for it's amazing cottage life, and when seen from above with a drone, it's no wonder! This cottage drone video really highlights the beauty of the landscape.
Weslemkoon lake is 14km long and slowly becoming a very popular spot for cottagers from the city to come and relax by the water in the summer months. I've been up every summer for my entire life, I don't think I've missed one! I am very fortunate my beautiful grandmother let's us use it, thanks grandma!
Canadians in Ontario might think of Muskoka as synonymous with cottages, but Addington Highlands, north of Belleville, is not far a way and spotted with gorgeous lakes with new cottages popping up all the time! Canada really has some of the best cottage country.
Don't use drones in your videos? You should! Drones give you amazing perspective on your cottage real estate that you just cannot get otherwise, unless you have access to a helicopter ;)
