On a private transportation service you will visit the first attraction, the sacred lagoon of Guatavita which represents the sacred legend of El Dorado a lost city of gold, a mythical place embellished with big treasures by our indigenous – (Muiscas). For years people have tried to find this city of gold; however no evidence of such a place has been founded. Other rumors tell that El Dorado legend was located in the Andes range near of a lake; this rumor drove the discovery of the Guatavita sacred lagoon.
Visit this Mystic place and enjoy the beauty of the lagoon, its gorgeous views and maybe discover a piece of gold while you are walking.
The second place you will visit is the first marvel in Colombia, the Salt cathedral of Zipaquirá located 49 Kilometers outside of Bogota. The Salt cathedral is a former salt mine which has been converted in a cathedral. It presents a perfect symbology between men’s work and the beautiful forms created by God and nature.
In Zipaquirá you will enjoy lunch in one of the most typical restaurants of the region.

Bogotá ( is the capital of Colombia and is a very large city with many things to do, but there are even more things to do around Bogotá. There are several towns to spend a weekend of relaxation or adventure.
To the north of Bogotá in a one-hour tour you can visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá ( where you can take a tour of the mine and get to know one of the most notable architectural and artistic achievements of Colombian architecture, considered the number one wonder of Colombia ( You can also enjoy a night of partying at Andrés Carne de Res in Chia ( a large restaurant and nightclub on the outskirts of Bogotá. An hour and a half from Bogotá is the Laguna de Guatavita ( a place that tells the story of El Dorado, a lagoon full of gold.
For extreme activities, you can visit Suesca ( Other places located north of Bogotá are the Puente de Boyacá ( and Villa de Leyva (
To the east of Bogotá, you can enjoy a pleasant afternoon at La Calera ( a place recognized for the large number of restaurants it has and activities such as horse riding. Also, 45 minutes from Bogotá you can visit the highest waterfall in Colombia La Chorrera ( or the hot springs of Choachí ( To the east of Bogotá is also the Chingaza National Park ( perfect for enjoying a day of nature.
To the south you find the Paramo de Sumapaz ( and the Tequendama Falls ( To the west you can go to San Francisco ( Villeta ( Guaduas ( and Honda (

Motoviaje ???? a las ventanas de Tisquizoque en Florián Santander | Charco paila | Charco azul ????????
Como de no creer que una cascada atraviese una montaña y salga para continuar su recorrido frente al municipio de Florián, así son las ventanas de tizquizoque, famosas gracias al cacique que llevaba su mismo nombre, quien en un acto de independencia decidió arrojarse al precipicio antes de ser gobernado por el yugo español, razón por la cual decidieron bautizar este lugar con su mismo nombre.
aunque esta vez no las encontramos en su máximo esplendor, lo cierto es que es este lugar es una joya oculta de nuestro país, y una vez se demuestra que los lugares mágicos y de ensueño quedan mas allá de donde termina el pavimento.

MAGICAL hike in COCORA VALLEY - Salento, Colombia - Quindio (tallest palm trees in the world)
Salento is a charming little pueblo in the Quindio region of Colombia...and there is SO MUCH to do there! In today's video we are doing the famous Cocora Valley hike! This hike takes us through cloud forests, jungle, valleys, and the tallest palm trees in the world. We did the full loop, which took us around 7 hours with filming, taking photos, and enjoying the views. Normally it should take you around 5 hours, don't miss it in Colombia!
