Binyang County, under the Nanning City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in south-central Guangxi, in the northeast of Nanning City, adjacent to Qintang District of Guigang City in the east, bordering Heng County in the east to the south, bordering Xingning District and Qingxiu District in the south, and west It is connected with Wuming District, Shanglin County in the northwest, and Xingbin District of Laibin City in the northeast. It lies between 22°54'-23°27' north latitude and 108°32'-109°15' east longitude, with a total area of 2308 square kilometers.
Binyang is the hometown of Cheng Siyuan, the former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and is known as the Hometown of Guangxi Hardware. The rice lotus root intercropping cultivation technology was the first in the country, and it was highly praised by 10 academicians of the father of hybrid rice Yuan Longping and fully affirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture and promoted nationwide. Academician Yuan Longping also wrote the inscription The hometown of rice lotus intercropping-Binyang, Guangxi .
In 2018, Binyang County has 16 towns under its jurisdiction and another farm with a registered population of 1.060 million. The GDP is calculated at comparable prices, an increase of 8.8% over the previous year. In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry increased by 4.3% over the previous year; the added value of the secondary industry increased by 7.3% over the previous year; the added value of the tertiary industry increased by 12.3% over the previous year, and the structure of the tertiary industry was 23.0: 30.5: 46.5. In 2019, the top 100 counties and cities in western China, and the second batch of counties (districts) meeting standards for water-saving society construction. On February 13, 2020, it won the title of National “Ping An Agricultural Machinery” Demonstration County in 2019.
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to order Binyang County as the national health county for the 2017-2019 cycle

Why Young Chinese People are Moving to the Countryside // 这个福建乡村是什么人间仙境！
Back in May, 2021, I travelled to Longtancun, an ancient village in Fujian Province that had fallen into disrepair after the majority of villagers moved to large cities in search of work. However, in recent years, this once near-abandoned village has been revived thanks to a group of young professionals and creatives who moved to the village and set up base there. Their arrival has turned this once crumbling village into a beautiful little scenic paradise filled with art and creativity.
Each year, more people move to the village in search of a kind of life they are unable to attain in the cities. I wanted to see what kind of life I'm missing out on by not living in the countryside.

Beihai (Chinese: 北海; pinyin: Běihǎi) is a prefecture-level city in the south of Guangxi, People's Republic of China. The name of the city means north of the sea in Chinese, signifying its status as a seaport on the north shore of the Gulf of Tonkin, which has granted it historical importance as a port of international trade for Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan.[1] Between the years 2006 and 2020, Beihai is predicted to be the world's fastest growing city.[2] Beihai has a large shipyard, but most of the money generated in the city is derived from trade.
In addition, it governs the small islands of Weizhou and Xieyang, and is directly west of Leizhou Peninsula.After the 1876 Sino-British Treaty of Yantai, eight Western nations (the UK, US, Germany, Austria-Hungary, France, Italy, Portugal, and Belgium) set up consulates, hospitals, churches, schools, and maritime customs. Today, 15 of these western buildings remain in Beihai. It officially became an international tourist spot (旅遊對外開放城市) in 1982.

Beihai is served by Beihai Fucheng Airport (BHY). It serves domestic destinations and also Hong Kong.
Rail[edit]
Beihai is served by a railway branch from Nanning. There are passenger trains to Nanning and Guilin.[3] At the end of 2013, the introduction of high-speed (D-series) train service to Beihai was announced as well.[4]
Climate[edit]
Beihai has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cwa), with mild to warm winters and long, hot (but not especially) summers, and very humid conditions year-round. The monthly 24-hour average temperature ranges from 14.5 °C (58.1 °F) in January to 28.8 °C (83.8 °F) in July, while extremes have ranged from 2.0 to 37.1 °C (36 to 99 °F). Rain is both the heaviest and most frequent from June to September, when 70% of the annual rainfall also occurs. This is in contrast to the autumn and winter months, where only 20 to 40 millimetres (0.79 to 1.57 in) of rain falls per month. The area receives about 2,000 hours of sunshine annually.[1]
Wuzhou, Guangxi, China
Wuzhou, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of Guangxi, choking the Xunjiang River, Guijiang River and Xijiang River, which has been called the total confluence of the three rivers since ancient times, and is the eastern gate of Guangxi, the city closest to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao among the twelve provinces of China's western development. Pingnan County, north to Zhaoping County and Lipu City , northeast to Hezhou, and northwest to Jinxiu County. In 2015, the jurisdiction of 3 districts, 3 counties and 1 county-level city, the whole territory is 115 km from east to west, 196 km long from north to south, with a total area of 12,588 square kilometers. According to the data of the seventh census, the resident population of Wuzhou City was 2820977 as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020.
Wuzhou is the seat of the ancient Cangwu County and Guangxin County, the birthplace of the Cantonese language, and one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture. Wuzhou is known as the Green City and Water City, the Hundred-Year Commercial Port, and the World Capital of Artificial Gems. It is a national forest city, a national garden city, a national model city of double support, and an excellent tourist city in China. In 183 BC, Zhao Guang built the city of Cangwu in the fifth year after Han Gao, which was the beginning of Wuzhou. So far, the city has a history of more than 2,200 years, and has given birth to outstanding figures such as Chen Qin, Shi Xie, Yuan Chonghuan, Li Jishen, Liang Yusheng and Gao Bolong.
Wuzhou's Lingnan culture, represented by Guangfu culture, has been passed down in Wuzhou, and elements of Guangfu culture can be found everywhere in Wuzhou, such as Cantonese opera, Cantonese language, Cantonese cuisine, lion dances and dragon boat races being typical representatives. Wuzhou is the origin of Liubao tea and tortoise cream. Wuzhou's representative specialties include Liubao tea, turtle paste, paper-wrapped chicken, Bingquan soy milk, Cenxi classical chicken, Shangtang river noodles, Wuzhou preserved sausage, and Cenxi red.
