Esta vez recorrimos uno de los departamentos con mayores riquezas culturales, arquitectónicas y naturales de Colombia; nuestro paso por Boyacá nos sorprendió pasando por lugares increíbles situados en 8 pueblos en tiempo record, solo 3 días bastaron para sumar kilómetros y experiencia en moto atravesando los municipios de Ráquira, Villa de Leyva, Paipa y el Pantano de Vargas, Duitama y el Pueblito Boyacense, Monguí, Sogamoso, el Lago más grande de Colombia, la Laguna de Tota y la famosa Playa Blanca, el dulce municipio de Iza y el Histórico pueblo de Boyacá.

Esta es una experiencia que en definitiva nos gustaría compartir para que muchos amantes de los viajes puedan vivirla y enamorarse más de esta tierra de trabajadores, de historia, de maravillas de la arquitectura y de montañas que se encuentran muy cerca de Bogotá.

Duitama es una de las ciudades más importantes de Boyacá. Es importante por su industria y ahora mismo está a la vanguardia del turismo. En este recorrido visitamos lugares como el cementerio, considerado uno de los más bonitos de Colombia, también sus parques e iglesias, visitamos un molino que se quiere recuperar como atractivo turístico y finalmente un pueblo con pinceladas de artistas. Este último se trata del pueblito boyacense, una joya arquitectónica dentro de la ciudad. En cuanto a la gastronomía probamos la famosa picada con chorizo, morcilla, papa criolla y longaniza.

Duitama is one of the most important cities of Boyacá. It is important because of its industry and nowadays is on the path of the tourism. In this trip we visited places as the cemetery, known as one of the most beautiful of Colombia, also we visited its parks and churches, we visited a windmill that is going to be restored as a tourist attraction and finally a town with brush strokes made by artists. This last is the “pueblito boyacense”, an architectural jewelry inside the city. Talking about its gastronomy we eat the famous “picada” with chorizo, black pudding, potatoes and longaniza.
