Crete Vacation Travel Video Guide

Travel video about destination Crete in Greece.
Crete is an island of light, the ‘cradle of Zeus’, with sun-drenched coastlines, picturesque villages and majestic mountains. No wonder that even the gods felt comfortable in this wonderful region of Greece.Heraklion is the capital of the largest and most southerly Greek islands, on which a highly developed culture has existed for 4,000 years. The Venetians built massive fortresses to defend the island against the Turks. The Gortys Ruins are reminders of the moving history of an old town that was prosperous in the 5th century B.C., when Gortys became the most powerful town of the Messara Plain. Throughout the olive groves and between the hills, can be found the scattered remnants of its past cultural riches. With its beautiful sandy beaches, Matala is a popular coastal resort to which many come simply to experience the glorious sunsets, in addition to the rich archaeological discoveries of the Phaistos Palace. The precipitous rocky coastline of Agia Roumeli is also the starting point of the Samaria Gorge, which is regarded as the largest in Europe. Eighteen kilometres long and in places up to 150 kilometres wide, the gorge stretches from the Libyan Sea right up to the heights of Lefka Ori. Picturesque harbors, ancient treasures, lost legends and Greek hospitality, who could possibly ask for more?

Wonderful Istria

The heart-shaped peninsula reaching deep into the clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea is a hidden garden of beauty which opens the door to the sunny and warm Mediterranean. Come and travel through it without hesitation, and the holiday of your dreams will become reality.
Multicultural and hospitable, this is an area where wide-ranging diversities have come together to form a happy union. Istria's crystal clear sea, clean shores and ports, its lively fishing boats and teeming narrow stone streets exude the true charm of the Mediterranean. Small, picturesque medieval towns perched on the peaks of its hills emanate the peace and gentleness of landscapes that irresistibly evoke the most beautiful parts of Tuscany or Provence.

Popular Food Destination Phuket Thailand

We flew from Melbourne Australia to travel to a popular food destination in Phuket Thailand. Food is always the main purpose of my travels but visiting beautiful locations and luxury villas is high on my list. This was our first day, we went to Patong beach for lunch. Thai food has to be amongst my favourite cuisines. From Tom kha, fish patties to stir fried prawns, the food didn’t let us down. Even the street ice-cream was delicious. The people are friendly, the weather was awesome, what’s there not to love about Phuket. Enjoy this food and travel vlog.

What To Pack for Belize

What To Pack for Belize

Hi DIY travellers
If you want to detox from social media and relax in an irie atmosphere there’s one place in Central America you have to visit. See it to Belize it is the hashtag everybody uses on Instagram and Discover how to BE seems to be their latest campaign

Belize is located next to Mexico and Guatemala and most travelers that visit, come from these neighboring countries just like I did. I stayed two nights in Belize city before travelling to Caye Caulker. Most people say Belize city is dangerous but I didn't experience it that way. But everything goes 'dead' once the shops close and it becomes dark. And because so little people are on the streets it can give you an uncomfortable feeling but nothing happened to me. The only reason I wouldn't recommend Belize city it's because I find it boring, there's nothing to see or do there.

But Caye Caulker is definitely a must and left me wanting more. I was told that Belize is like a mini Brazil as it offers the same highlights such as a rich nature, beaches, scuba diving and more more. But since Belize is small it's easier to explore all these highlights and in a much cheaper way.

Happy travels and see you in my next video!

Venice Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

Rising from the waters of Venice Lagoon is the Italian city of Venice, a city like no other.
Begin your visit in the central district of San Marco, and walk upon one of the world’s great squares, St Mark’s Square. The square is surrounded by some of the city’s finest jewels such as St Mark’s Basilica, St Mark’s Campanile and Doge’s Palace.

Just outside stand the Columns of San Marco and San Teodoro. From here, journey along one of the world’s great aquatic thoroughfares, The Grand Canal. Glide past elegant palazzos; once the homes of wealthy merchants, today many of these palaces house important museums and galleries.

Known as The City Of Bridges, Venice has hundreds to explore. The Accademia Bridge links the San Marco district to the Accademia Gallery, and offers some of the Grand Canal’s finest views. The oldest of the Grand Canal’s four crossings is the Rialto Bridge, which today still serves as the gateway to the Rialto Markets. The most famous of all is the Bridge of Sighs, which connects Doge’s Palace to the historic prison.

Venice is a city to get lost in, so put away your map and let her surprise you. Discover waterfront promenades of The Zattere and the sleepy canals and spacious piazzas of Castello. On the tiny island of Murano, glassmakers have been creating works of incredible delicacy and color for over 700 years. Further across the lagoon, the island of Burano is famed for its brightly colored houses and exquisite lace.

Venice has shone her light into the far corners of the world for over one and a half thousand years. Just remember, this city smiles upon those who linger. So stay for a few nights, or stay for a month, and savor every moment she has to offer.

See in Costa Rica
================
(( Wildlife )) - Costa Rica is world famous for having an incredibly high level of biodiversity throughout its tropical forests (this covers what you may hear referred to as rain forests, cloud forests, and dry forests). There are tropical mammals such as monkeys, sloths, tapirs, and wild cats as well as an amazing assortment of insects and other animals. There are many many birds (both migratory and resident) - more on that below. With 25% of the country being national parks and protected areas, there are still many places you can go to see the abundant wildlife and lush vegetation of the country. Just like anywhere, the farther you get off the beaten path, the more likely you are to see a wide variety of flora and fauna.

(( Bird Watching )) - One of the most wonderful activities for people who love nature is bird watching. You can enjoy bird watching in many areas of Costa Rica. Due to the great diversity of climates, temperatures and forest types in Costa Rica, there is a wonderful variety of birds, with over 800 species. Some helpful books available on bird watching are Birds of Costa Rica by F. Gary Stiles and Alexander Skutch (Cornell University Press) or An Illustrated Field Guide to Birds of Costa Rica, illustrated by Victor Esquivel Soto. These books can be found at certain bookstores in San José or before coming to Costa Rica. They are both heavy books; many people tear out the plates of the Stiles & Skutch book to carry into the field and leave the rest of the book in their car or room. Plastic cards with the most common birds are available for many areas and are sold at gift shops.

(( Volcanoes )) -Costa Rica is one of the most seismologicly active countries in the western hemisphere, and as a result several volcanoes have sprouted over the years- most notably volcanoes Poas, Irazu, and Arenal.

Living in an foreign country for months at a time gives a person the ability to work and enjoy the new surroundings.
Designing, writing, programming, teaching English, or working in the hospitality industry is an ideal way to make a living abroad.
Many are even choosing to retire in these faraway lands because the cost of living is more affordable than living in the United States.
With the American dollar strong compared to other currencies, moving or retiring abroad could be a smart strategy to stretch your retirement savings further.

If you're looking for a super-thrifty place to live with dirt-cheap housing, low-cost groceries and wallet-friendly utility bills,
look no further than Numbeo's Cost of Living Index, which rates the affordability of each country according to the people who live there.
Here are the 10 cheapest countries to live in the world for 2018.
1. South Africa.
2. India. (Note: India is home to 1.25 billion residents, not 25 billion. I'm sorry about my mistake.)
3. Slovakia.
4. Romania.
5. Saudi Arabia.
6. Bosnia-Herzegovina.
7. Nepal.
8. Paraguay.
9. Bulgaria.
10. Kazakhstan.

Visiting the Brazilian capital, Rio de Janeiro? Here is a list of 10 things you'll need to know. If you love sun, sand, sea and celebrations, you are in for a treat with Rio de Janeiro. Boasting a setting unlike any other in the world, with people who are unlike any in the world.

With a unique mountainous landscape, there are several places to look over and admire the city, some with cable cars to reach the summit. There are three ways to reach the Christ the Redeemer statue; the first is to walk, which is strenuous, the second to take a taxi, which can be expensive and the third and most popular route is to take the tram.

Visit the famous world wonder, Christ the Redeemer, witness the beauty of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and take a stroll through Rio's botanic gardens. Check out and ascend or descend the famous steps of Escadaria Selarón. Explore the lush surrounding rainforests or the architecture of the city center. Relax on Rio's famous and stunning beaches, including Coco Cabana & Ipanema. Japan's Most Beautiful Cycling Route | Shimanami Kaido Travel Guide

Shimanami Kaido is one of Japan's most famous cycling routes connecting the main island Honshu with Shikoku.

Ever since I heard about this bikeway a few months ago, I knew I had to travel there some day to experience it for myself!!

So, I packed up my bags, bought a Shinkansen ticket and took a spontaneous trip down to Onomichi, Hiroshima.

Shimanami Kaido Bikeway runs between Onomichi in Hiroshima Prefecture and Imabari in Ehime Prefecture, hopping across 6 islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

You can start your journey from either the Hiroshima side or the Ehime side. I started from the Hiroshima side because the views get better and better as you go along towards Ehime.

So, hope you enjoy the new adventure with me and let me know in the comments something you have always wanted to do!! And then MAKE time for it and actually go do it! :D
