There are a handful of things to know before visiting Georgia such as the best time to visit, how should you budget for it, how much money should you carry etc. etc. I try to answer as many of those questions as possible in this very short and quick video.
I also explain the things you should keep in mind if you want to experience off beaten Georgia. I try to set your expectations right by giving you the exact estimated time it would take to go from one city to another. This video is about everything to know about Georgia, and in case you have some more detailed questions, feel free to drop them in the comments and I shall answer them.
This was my second visit to Georgia, specifically western Georgia. I have explored the Gudauri, Bakuriani, Tbilisi a few times now. But after exploring all these places, I can say, experiencing off beaten Georgia, the western part, is my favorite. Yet there is so much more to explore in Georgia and I cant wait to explore and share that with you in the future.

#tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of #georgia , lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of approximately 1.5 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Between 1801 and 1917, then part of the Russian Empire, Tiflis was the seat of the Caucasus Viceroyalty, governing both the northern and the southern parts of the Caucasus.

It is also full of political graffities that we didn't expect to see.
We learned that this ex-soviet country has a dark past, and we can see reflections of it all over the city.

I found out about the country of Georgia as I was looking for places in Europe with low cost of living and good quality of life. And because Georgia is still unknown to a lot of people, I decided to make a video with 11 Facts you probably didn't know about the country of Georgia.
Georgia is transforming into a vibrant tourist hub but there are many who still don’t know about Georgia’s tourism potential. Georgia is filled with charm, beauty, history, and hospitality.
Located cozily in the midst of the majestic Caucasus Mountains, the country falls between Europe and Asia. It’s a small country, but it packs a lot of interest. There are ancient cities, snowy mountains, lush landscapes, delicious wine, and many UNESCO World Heritage Sites. If you haven’t visited Georgia yet, then you should definitely include it in your list of the next travel destinations.

Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.
