#11 Hello RUSSIA: Cooking Butter Chicken for Russians #silkroadtrip #lifeisenjoy
After riding 3000 kms in Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan, I finally reach Russia from the Altai side. I spent my first night in Zmeinogorsk, a small town near Kazakhstan border and around 400 kms from Barnaul & Gorno Altysk (capitals of two different Russian replubics). I start riding to Gorno Altysk only to realize that the road is bad & I do not have internet, so the better choice would be to take the main highway, and that's how I reach the city of Barnaul.Initial days in Russia weren't very easy, as language is a big problem & without internet, it was difficult to move around. Then I met Julia & Vanya through couchsurfing and had a good time and even cooked some Butter Chicken for them. I nice relaxed time before a month of crazy adventure through Russia & Mongolia!
