Amigos, estuvimos 6 días en los carnavales de Morelos para conocer y mostrarles más acerca de la TRADICION DE LOS CHINELOS. Sin duda el carnaval de Tepoztlán es una de las fechas más esperadas, en donde salen los CHINELOS a BRINCAR al ritmo de los sones. Y no podíamos perdernos del carnaval de YAUTEPEC y de TLAYACAPAN que aunque son pueblitos muy cercanos tienen bastantes diferencias en sus comparsas y en los trajes. Our FAVORITE beach town in Mexico that you've NEVER heard of
Located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, Puerto Morelos QUICKLY became our favorite beach town in Mexico!

Puerto Morelos is in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located halfway between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. On the shores of the Caribbean Sea, the waters and beach of Puerto Morelos are some of the prettiest we’ve seen!
This quaint little beach town is kicking off our 2019 Mexico travel vlog and we can’t wait to explore this town and surrounding area even more! The town itself is pretty small, one of the smallest beach towns we’ve been to throughout our Mexico travels. But there is a huge coral reef right off shore, quite a few great restaurants to try, and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Yucatan Peninsula. Needless to say, I think we’ll stay plenty busy here.
If that isn’t enough, with the town’s close proximity to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen and other amazing destinations in the Riviera Maya, there’s no shortage of things to do within a reasonable driving distance.
One thing that has plagued Mexico’s Caribbean beaches over the course of the past year is the sargazo (seaweed). Typically, this is only something that these Mexico beach towns only have to deal with about 1 month a year, but lately it’s been different. In our opinion, the sargazo in Puerto Morelos hasn’t been too bad since we’ve been here. It can pile up on the beaches but the water has been pretty clear with its natural, gorgeous, hues of blue and green.
In today’s video, we ate breakfast at a local restaurant and later had some Veracruz-influenced seafood at another. We also took a short trip to Cancun to purchase some things that we’ve been needing from Costco, which was a super painless drive straight up the highway.

Tepoztlán Morelos Mexico (THINGS TO DO & EAT)
Tepoztlan is a stunning Pueblo Magico located in Morelos Mexico. Tepoztlan Morelos is located just an hour and a half south of Mexico City and makes for a perfect day trip or weekend getaway.
In this Mexico Vlog we take you out in Tepoztlan and show you what to do in Tepoztlan. We start in the zocalo, then head to the market where we eat some delicious food, then stroll through the weekend open-air market before grabbing a mojito - a must do when you’re in Tepoztlan! We then try to climb El Tepozteco to see the Tepoztlan pyramid, but unfortunately couldn’t because it is closed so instead we opted to do an ATV Tour with Tepoztlan Adventures! We end the video trying some famous Tepoznieves in the plaza.

CUERNAVACA by DRONE 4K | Beautiful Town near Mexico City | Best Places To Visit in Mexico
Cuernavaca drone footage and timelapse. Cuernavaca is a beautiful town located 85 kilometers from Mexico City. It is the capital of Mexico’s Morelos state, surrounded by the Tepozteco Mountains south of Mexico City. The colonial city center features the 16th-century Palace of Cortés, former home of Spanish conqueror Hernán Cortés and now a history museum with murals by Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Just southwest is Cuernavaca Cathedral, in a 1500s walled monastery complex with a mural depicting Mexico’s first saint. The city is an important historical destination full of colonial and pre Hispanic treasures.
Things to see in Cuernavaca:
The charming Historical Center of Cuernavaca has the charm of a province, with its colonial buildings, fountains, parks and ravines. In downtown, you can find the Cathedral, the Palacio de Cortés (Cortés Palace) which houses the Museo de Cuauhnahuac (Museum of Cuauhnahuac), the Jardín Borda, the Government Palace, the Jardín Juarez, the Parque Ecológico Chapultepec (Chapultepec ecological park), the Amanalco ravine, the Chapitel del Calvario and the Robert Brady Museum, among other attractions.

Si llegas tempranito a Cuernavaca, visita esta zona arqueológica ubicada muy cerca de su centro histórico. Te lleva cuando más una hora hacer todo el recorrido.
*Palacio de Cortés*
En el centro de Cuernavaca, no te puedes perder este palacio antiquísimo que es cede de un museo que exhibe piezas y murales que describen la historia del estado de Morelos.
*Catedral de Cuernavaca*
Un lugar muy lindo para visitar y admirar la arquitectura del siglo XVI, en su atrio se dan cita muchísima gente para platicar y disfrutar de su jardín.
*Jardín Borda*
El rincón más hermoso de toda Cuernavaca sin duda es este maravilloso jardín que puedes recorrer por tan solo 35 pesos, si no tienes tiempo de hacer las demás cosas, este jardín es lo esencial.
*Comer en Casa Hidalgo*
Cuando ya te de la hambre, una de las mejores opciones para comer sabroso en Cuernavaca es este restaurante que queda ubicado a un costado de la plaza principal. Es muy rico, te lo recomendamos.

5 - LAGO DE TEQUESQUITENGO
Al sur de la entidad, bajo los rayos del sol, brilla el lago de Tequesquitengo, conocido con cariño como El Mar de Morelos. Es un atractivo turístico ideal para tomarse unos días de descanso en compañía de amigos y familiares. Ubicado a 45 kilómetros de la capital, aquí se puede disfrutar de diversas actividades recreativas al aire libre. Y mientras los globos aerostáticos pintan el paisaje con sus colores, los esquiadores parecen volar sobre el agua, guiados por lanchas. Tequesquitengo, con toda su infraestructura turística, es un punto obligado; un lugar donde la diversión, tranquilidad y relajación armonizan la vida. (Via México)
4 - JARDINES DE MÉXICO
Está conformado por siete jardines temáticos. Cuatro Primaveras es aquel en el que todos los demás espacios se intersectan. Alrededor de una fuente se hacen obras a gran escala hechas con flores de colores intensos, sin importar la época del año. Hay un jardín similar, Abanico de Flores, donde todas las figuras elaboradas con vegetación tienen forma de diamante. Dos sitios están dedicados a especies que crecen en México, pero son muy distintas entre sí. El Jardín de Cactáceas es como observar un pedacito del Desierto de Sonora; en el hay más de 200 especies, como el saguaro. Su opuesto es el Jardín Tropical, ambientado como una selva de nuestro país. Tiene cascadas, y entre sus mayores tesoros se resguardan palmeras en peligro de extinción. (El Universal)
3 - HACIENDA SAN GABRIEL DE LAS PALMAS
Majestuosa, Misteriosa, Elegante. Construida bajo las órdenes del conquistador español Hernán Cortés en 1529, Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas, fue monasterio franciscano y posteriormente ingenio azucarero. Hoy, convertida en Hotel de gran lujo, es también escenario de los más refinados eventos sociales, culturales y gastronómicos.
