Yangjiang City 阳江 Guangdong | China Capital For Knives and Scissors And Amazing Beaches.
Yangjiang is a coastal city in southwestern Guangdong Province and close to the Pearl River Delta. It is adjacent to Jiangmen to the west, the South China Sea to the south, Yunfu to the north.
The city is 247 and 160 kilometers (153 and 99 miles) from Guangzhou and Zhuhai. By water, it is 143 and 129 sea miles (265 and 239 kilometers) from Hong Kong and Macau. Yangjiang is China's largest knife and Scissors production and export base whose products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions, such as Europe, the United States and Japan.
Shibazi, Shengda, Sanren and Chule are the most famous knife brands. Besides, China (Yangjiang) International Hardware Knives & Scissors Fair is held in October every year which has attracted more than 30,000 exhibitors from over the world. Yangjiang is also a large fishery city whose marine products rank second in Guangdong Province. The beautiful sea view, white beach and various karst landscapes make Yangjiang an ideal place for travel and vacation.

1. Dajiao Bay, Hailing Island:
Hailing Island, situated to the southwest of Yangjiang, has been regarded as one of Ten Most Beautiful Islands in China. The island boasts many famous attractions such as Dajiao Bay, Mawei Island and Shili Silver Beach. The most popular one is Dajiao Bay, which enjoys agreeable weather and broad beach.
2. Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum:
Located on the west of Shili Silver Beach on Hailing Island, it is the first undersea-archaeology museum about exploration, protection, display, and research of the China's ancient ship Nanhai 1.
3. Lingxiao Rock:
With its majestic rocks and imposing manner, it is reputed to be the most magnificent in all of South China. As a national geological park and base for science education, the scenic spot is a famous attraction characterized by superb karst landform. It is located to the northwest of Yangchun City, about 66 kilometers (41 miles) from proper district.
The scenic spot has numerous caves scattered in a magnificent three-storey cave that is over 120 meters (394 feet) high. The bottom floor is grand and spacious with a limpid stream winding its way inside for about 320 meters (1,050 feet), and even provides boating in the cave. The middle and the upper floors are a fairyland of various stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars. They take the shape of fairies, lions, and inverted lotuses, encouraging you to linger and appreciate their form. Some of them are rare in China. There are nineteen spectacular stalactites, which are as grand as buildings, and forty grand stone pillars resembling a large lotus. Inside the cave, you will feel that you have entered a sublime palace.
The karst landform in the Lingxiao Rock is a typical representative of its kind in South China. The karst sight here is well-preserved and has a wide variety of geologic formations. In the cave, the stalactites will grow continuously if there are drops of water. Regardless, they grow at a rather slow speed, about 1 to 20 centimeters (0.39 to 7.87 inches) per century. We can only image how long the cave has existed!
In addition, the scenic area has improved the infrastructure facilities of the area. Many scenic spots have also been built, including a sunflower garden, a national geological park, a museum and other ancillary structures. By incorporating a large number of rocks, minerals, stalactites, and specimens of plants and animals, the museum represents the evolution of rocks and land forms of the area.

Most beautiful Beach in Guangdong China Dajio Bay Hailing Island Yangjiang City. Miami of China
The beautiful bay shaped like a big angle is a spiral bay between Yangjiang Hailing Island and Yangjiang River. It resembles a huge horn, so it is called Dajiao Bay.
The beach of Dajiao Bay is 2.59 kilometers long, rich in subtropical seaside style, the beach is evenly soft, and the sea water is clear and pure. Still the best place to watch the sunset, you can watch Mawei Xizhao .
There are also marine parks, sailing bases and other landscapes in the scenic area, which is a summer leisure resort. Address: No. 38 Haibin Road, Jianpo Town, Hailing Island, Yangjiang City.

Dajiao Mountain and Wangliao Mountain flank the bay, resembling two arms embracing it. The beach is warm and comfortable, and hills are graceful and misty, each enhancing the other. Located in subtropical zone, backed by hills and facing to the South Sea, the island enjoys longtime sunshine, agreeable weather, and gentle sea breeze. These, combined with azure waters and fine sand, making it the best place to take sunbath, seawater bath, and sand bath. Meanwhile, it is relaxing to bicycle along roads near the beach with family and friends.
There are basically three main areas. The eastern area functions as a sports zone with kinds of sport equipment, and it is the training base for beach volleyball teams. Important games have been hosted here. The western is the leisure zone with gardens where visitors can relax. The middle area serves as public bathing place where you can get tanned. Dajiao Bay is also the main part of Hailing Island Marine Amusement Park which stretches from Tiemao Mountain in Beiluo Bay Scenic Area to the Maritime Silk Road Museum. Dajiao Bay encompasses of stage performances, diving, bathing, and amusement facilities such as powered paragliders, dune buggies, motorboat, water slide way, and water-power leisure pool.

Hailing Island is located in the northern part of the South China Sea at the southwest end of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China. It is 20 kilometers away from Yangjiang City and covers an area of 105 square kilometers. It is the fourth largest island in Guangdong Province. However, the island was connected to the mainland by building a levee in 1958. In fact, it is a peninsula. The levee was once washed away by the strong typhoon Hagupit in September 2008, and then repaired. Hailing Island has two towns, Hailing and Zhapo, with a native population of about 100,000. Hailing Island has a unique scenery and is a famous resort in Guangdong, receiving tens of thousands of tourists every year

本人在岛上公寓住了一天，因为近海，所以房间空气非常潮湿，需要关窗开空调制冷后，才觉得空气干燥舒适。另外岛上没有滴滴打车服务，至于其它网约车服务，不知有否。沙滩很美，但是我所接触的沙滩区域水较深，不适合下水游泳，沙滩上也有警告牌不要下水游泳。卫生情况比深圳大梅沙差些，可能和当地财政实力相关。光脚踩沙子，感觉比较硬，不知是什么原因，吃饭的选择性比较少，都是一些临街店，有点类似大排档，吃海鲜的话，费用比较高，如需更多选择，需驾车到中心区找。
