Kunming has a monsoon climate in the northern subtropical low-latitude plateau mountain. It is a mountainous landform, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and bordered by Dianchi Lake in the south. The scenery along the lake is beautiful. If you are wondering what to do in Kunming, it's good to know that Kunming tourist attractions can be easily visited on your own. The must do in Kunming is the Dragon Gate, located on the cliff of the Western Hills (Xishan Mountain) where you can have a view of the Dianchi Lake. The seagulls at Green Lake are a wonder and if you visit during the winter time, this is definitely a must see place in Kunming. Yuantong Temple is very tranquil and best visited in the late afternoon.

One of Kunming's most popular scenic spots. The path to and from Dragon Gate is carved out of rock and passes by several small grottos. It commands spectacular views over Dianchi Lake and Kunming. Kunming: the capital of Yunnan province, China. A place that people love for its climate. Kunming is called The Spring City, and it's a popular place to travel all year. Kunming is a starting point for travel to Lijiang and Dali and also Vietnam, so it's a major transportation hub for a lot of travellers.

Dragon Gate is located in Western Hills, Xishan Park, just outside Kunming. It is not well known to foreign visitors, but is a must see in Yunnan. There is an old saying: Once you enter the Dragon Gate, you will become famous and successful. It’s a symbol of good luck.
You can take subway line 3 from Kunming. Get off at the Western Hills Station. A bus will take you to Gas Yao Station. From there, you can take a golf cart style battery car to the start of the hike. For those not wanting to climb up a mountain, a cable car to the Dragon Gate Grottoes is also available, but was not operational the day I visited.
You begin by climbing several staircases. There are numerous temples and grottoes along the way. Soon, the climb will start getting more difficult and you’ll literally hike up the side of the mountain. The stone staircases carved into the mountain are quite amazing and offer a breathtaking view.
The actual Dragon gate teeters on the edge of a cliff. This and the surrounding grottoes were built between 1781 - 1853.
I continued climbing up, through man made tunnels and staircases. At the very top, you’ll find Lingxu Pavillion, which offers amazing views of Lake Dianchi and the city of Kunming.

龍門は昆明郊外の、西山森林公園にあります。海外からの観光客にはあまり知られていないようですが、雲南省で是非訪れてほしい場所です。昔からの言い伝えで、龍門をくぐると成功を収めると言われ、幸運のシンボルになっています。登竜門の語源とされています。
地下鉄3号線で終点の西山公園駅で降ります。そこからバスに乗りゲートに向かいます。そこからさらにゴルフカートのような電動の車に乗り、龍門の登り口まで行きます。龍門までの山道を上るのに自信のない人は、ケーブルカーもありますが、私の行った日は運行していませんでした。
まずはいくつもの石段を登っていきます。その途中、たくさんのお寺や洞窟があります。徐々に道は険しくなっていき、山肌ギリギリのところを登っていくことになります。断崖を掘削してできている石段はなんともよくできていて、そこから見える景色も素晴らしいものです。
龍門自体はとても急な断崖絶壁に建っています。龍門及びその周りの洞窟寺も1781年から1853年に建立されました。
龍門に着いた後もさらに上に登ることができます。頂上には凌虚阁と呼ばれる場所があり、滇池や昆明市街地を一望することができます。

Aucune intention particulière dans cet épisode, juste de l'improvisation... et l'occasion d'aborder certains sujets au sujet de la Chine et surtout des problèmes que peut rencontrer un touriste la bas !
Et oui c'est un long métrage.. ça n'en finit pas, et encore j'ai écourté au max sinon on y aurait passé 4 heures ! La qualité de l'INSTA 360 Go 2 n'est pas folle, mais j'ai choisi cette caméra pour vraiment être dans l'action sans avoir à sortir mon boitier à chaque fois !
En résumé, c'est une vidéo très longue et très moche, mais j'ai compensé en y mettant un poil de connerie !

This is my first trip to China 2006. Kunming was Boeing's first flight training center in China. Kunming is the capital and largest city of Yunnan province, People's Republic of China. It was important during World War II as a Chinese military center, American air base, and transport terminus for the Burma Road. Located in the middle of the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau, Kunming is located at an altitude of 1,900 metres (6,234 feet) above sea level and at a latitude just north of the Tropic of Cancer. Kunming is located at the northern edge of Dian Lake, and the Western mountains surrounded by temples and lake-and-limestone hill landscapes.
