Amazing China Cliff Village Case Demonstrates,Atuleer Village Southwest China's Sichuan province
Liangshan (Chinese:; Yi: ꆃꎭ Niep Sha, pronounced [nɛ̀ʂā]), officially the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, is an autonomous prefecture occupying much of the southern extremity of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China; its seat is Xichang. Liangshan has an area of 60,261 km2 (23,267 sq mi) and over 4.5 million inhabitants (2010). It is also has the largest population of ethnic Yi nationally.[clarification needed] Liangshan Li contains a number of isolated villages high up on its cliffs, often known as cliff villages.

Ganhaizi Bridge is located in Shimian County, Ya'an, Sichuan on the Ya (An) Lu (Gu) Expressway. It has a total length of 1811 meters, a bridge width of 24.5 meters, and a total of 36 spans. It is the longest steel tube truss girder highway bridge in the world. The main structure of the bridge is made of steel fiber concrete, which is the first case in the history of bridge construction in the world. Sichuan Province has the longest mileage, the largest investment, and has created many world records. So far, the Jingkun Expressway has been fully connected across the 1,045 kilometers in Sichuan Province.
After the completion of the Qianhaizi Bridge, it will drive on it as if it were in the cloud. It was officially opened to traffic on April 28, 2012. The Jingkun Expressway, a national trunk expressway, realizes the full highway in Sichuan, shortening the distance from Chengdu to Xichang to 420 kilometers, and it can be reached by self-driving in 5 hours. This saves about half of the time compared to the past. The completed Xipan Expressway is enough, and the whole journey takes only 6 hours.
As the Ganhaizi Bridge has entered winter with low temperatures and the road surface is slippery and easy to accumulate snow, snow removal vehicles and other emergency rescue equipment will be equipped in the future. At the same time, the guardrails on both sides are 30 centimeters higher than ordinary high-speed guardrails to prevent vehicles from rushing out of the bridge. Ya'an, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located on the western edge of the Sichuan Basin and the eastern foothills of Qionglai Mountains. It is adjacent to Chengdu in the east, Ganzi in the west, Liangshan in the south, and Aba in the north, 120 kilometers away from Chengdu. It belongs to the mountains on the western edge of the Sichuan Basin, and it crosses the Sichuan Basin. There are two major terrain areas on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; the climate type is subtropical monsoon humid climate; the city has a total area of 15,046 square kilometers, with 2 districts and 6 counties under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Ya'an City is 1,434,603 people.
Ya'an, the Rain City located in western Sichuan, has been known as Huaxi Rain Screen and Yazhou Sky Leak since ancient times. 365 days a year, there are as many as 218 days of rainy days in Ya'an, with an average annual rainfall of 1,800 mm and rainfall hours as high as 2,319 hours. It is really a veritable Rain City. The poet Li Shangyin of the Tang Dynasty once sighed: Why should we cut candles at the west window together, Bashan rains at night and rises in the autumn pond. The folks of Ya'an also have the distress of Shu dog barking day and Ya no three days sunny. So why does Ya'an become a Rain City?
There is a beautiful and touching myth in Ya'an. Legend has it that in ancient times, the sky was smashed by the Canglong, and the ancestor of humanity, Nuwa, made multicolored stones to repair the sky. When the sky elsewhere was completed, and only the sky in Ya'an was left, Nuwa was exhausted. She barely held up the last colorful stone and flew over Ya'an. After hard work, she fell into the realm of Ya'an due to overwork and vomited blood. Died. Since then, Ya'an has been shrouded in rain, and Nu Wa has also turned into a mountain in the Rain City, watching bitterly on the edge of the Qingyi River that was rolled over by the blue waves.

To watch the scenery go by on this section, we thought we weren't in China anymore. It was absolutely stunning. It just doesn't get any better than high alpine like scenery and 1500m descents. Nevertheless, riding through a gorge towards Emei, we were stopped by the cops and told, you cannot pass, no foreigners allowed! and were forced to turn around and take a completely different route!
